Hi, I’m Melissa , Rylee is our daughter — welcome to our beyond organic urban flower farm!
My daughter and I started a beyond-organic, no-dig urban flower and herb farm right here in Los Angeles County (Zone 10b). We grow flowers for the pollinators and the people, using regenerative methods that protect soil health, support biodiversity, and teach others how to do the same — no matter your age.
Now I’m here to share everything I’m learning with you — from planting seeds to building living soil, attracting beneficial insects, and harvesting flowers you can actually feel good about. 🌿
Let’s grow something beautiful together without using any chemical fertilizers or pesticides including the ones deemed “organic”.
✨
Let’s grow local. Grow clean. Grow kind.

Rylee’s Blooms
The cool season flowers like ranunculus and anemone have really hit their stride in zone 10b. Just put up 40% shade cloth to extend their season as well heat up here. Ranunculus thrive in 55-60 degrees and stop blooming when temperatures are consistently above 75. #ranunculus #zone10b #urbanflowerfarm #whittier #gardening #flowerfarmer #nodig #notill #gardening101 #coolflowers #locallygrownflowers #garden #cutflowers #pollinatorgarden #bouquetbar
