I've seen better days.
And the nights are evil too.
Life seen in a dark haze.
With light that doesn’t shine true.
And out among the shades.
The Shadows wait for me.
As hope at last sadly fades.
With a fate that fails to be.
Ghosts on the left and right.
They seek to pull me down.
Haunted spirits of the night.
From the dreadful upside down.
They are waiting ever waiting.
No matter where I try to run.
With claws that are ever grating.
They seek for me to be undone.
One day they will pull me in.
To where I do not seem to know.
In a dire game I cannot win.
They wait to strike the fatal blow.
Then I will be so forever gone.
Into that black emptiness to drown.
Forgotten in the vast unknown.
Somewhere In The upside down.
