** 700 Subscribers Milestone Reached! **

First off I like to thank everyone for their continuing support and I hope you all still find videos/shorts from here to enjoy even if I've not uploaded in a couple of months, I've been meaning to write why the uploading has stopped and I will address that in this post since It wont be a better opportunity for it.

Earlier this year I found love after being single for more than a decade and I'm currently In the works to move my workspace across country to be with her and to have all my things at one and the same place, I can't say for certain WHEN it will all be done but I feel confident enough to say it will happen before winter, or before end of the year hopefully. Once all of that is up and running, the streaming front will be changed a little on Twitch (I will touch this matter then It's time for it) but as for YouTube it will get back to daily uploads just as the beginning of this year.

When it will be back up and running I will take on some of the bigger games such as Assassin's Creed: Shadows for example + there is a bunch more games that are coming that I've prepared for that will end up here for everyone to enjoy. Not to mention that I will finish Two Point Museum.

I also like to add that I will keep uploading in English with cam and commentary and no commentary just as before.

To end this post I also want to issue an apology for my absent and I also want to express my most profound gratitude to everyone, long time subscriber or new subscriber, for all the support the channel has gotten to grow while I've been cultivating a relationship to blossom into something greater.

This is for the future.

Thank You

Best Regards

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope this message finds you all safe and sound and that you are all well, 2024 felt like a flash before my eyes and now 2025 is upon us which will be filled to the brim with new games coming our way, I dare saying that 2025 will be one of the heaviest gaming years for a long time, assuming nothing gets delayed of course!

-----

I want to start with summarizing 2023 because I think it's really worth mentioning this early in and by doing that I want to welcome every new subscriber to the channel, I think we got almost 200 subscribers during 2024, I might be wrong but It's definitely the most ever in a year for the channel! Not only that, we broke 10 000 videos and celebrated it with a channel trailer! And now we are flying towards 700 subscribers!

Now I'm good with words, but I can't channel any word powerful enough to express my profounded gratitude towards you all, even if you have recently just subscribed or if you have been a subscriber from day one, I'm truly thankful and I hope to keep you all as we keep on climbing upwards.

-----

Now before we are going into what's coming for the channel 2025, I will go through my top three games that I've played this year, if you are following me on Twitter (X) or Instagram you might already have seen my picks as I picked the last one earlier today.

-----

First Place - Dragon's Dogma 2

"One of the games that stuck with me since I played it this year is Dragon's Dogma 2, the combat in it is excellent and it really outclass anything else I've come across, it might not be everyones cup of tea but that epic feeling it gives is really amazing, graphics are beautiful and I really loved the world and all the classes."

-

Second Place - Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

"I never really played the original Final Fantasy 7 so I'm still experiencing this game for the first time, so far It's been top notch and It's absolutely fantastic, one thing that really made me pick this as my number two is how emotional that game is, It's the eternal struggle that Cloud is feeling, just that hopelessness and how you keep giving it you all and it's truly never enough"

-

Third Place - HELLDIVERS 2

"HELLDIVERS 2 is almost picture perfect of how good a coop game can be, It has a lot of variety on the customization front, no predatory mtxs, great interactions together with other players, difficulties so no one will be left behind, but best of all, a huge variety of biomes so we dont get to see the same ol stuff all the time and a MASSIVE replayablity that is being backed by the full might from Arrowhead Studios with new updates."

-

I also want to take this time here to do some honorable mentions because It was quite tight this year.

-

PALWORLD

I can't really post this without mentioning Palworld, I had a ton of fun in that game and I'm quite eager to see what's new, i know they released a new large patch almost recently and I'm looking into it to decide if I should go back to it.

-

INDIANA JONES AND THE GREAT CIRCLE

This is without a question the biggest surprise of the year, and it would have been the number three pick if It was not for the ending. In my opinion this game is better than the last two movies, it gives a brilliant Indiana Jones feeling, but when it was time for the story to peak it felt almost like a low blow and for me it just didn't really make sense, it was very confusing

-

WARHAMMER 40,000 SPACE MARINE 2

Considering how many hours i sank into this game, I'm also a little torn why this did not make it into the top three, but when i was evaluating everything it became kinda clear that I could not with good concience put this into the top three. The story is great, It's short but you do feel kinda badass, I don't see anything wrong with it. But the Operations part (online coop mode) is where things fall flat, the classes and all are great, all feel unique and the customizations are beautiful, but with only 6 missions (7 when i quit, 8 now) it just became too tedious really, it took SO MUCH of the enjoyment out, where this game falls flat, Helldivers 2 exceeds, and that is more important really, to be able to play a game for longer without getting tired/brain dead seeing or hearing the same stuff all over again.

I still love this game though, I will always speak highly of it.

-

GHOST OF TSUSHIMA

Small mention here, beautiful game, great combat, amazing story, new to PC but It's been out for some time. I still recommend others to play it.

-----

So what's coming 2025 to the channel? Well, the cogwheels are already in motion!

First off, I got a new Gaming PC which means my old gaming PC is now my Streaming PC. I'm still waiting for next gen graphic cards so I can take my current graphic card and put it into the Streaming PC to make it more powerful.

Secondly I'm going to be buying a 4TB M.2 SSD for recordings.

Both these things above is for two purposes. The first one is that it will allow me to try to record in true 1440p, I can do it already but I fill up my 1TB M.2 SSD in no time almost, hence the storage upgrade, yes there will be some more tweaking to make this work but my end goal is to deliver a true 1440p experience with +60 frames and top quality.

The second purpose is to try simulcasting once again, I tried it during 2023 but It just didn't work due to my hardware, I really want to be able to simulcast to Twitch, YouTube and maybe even TikTok maybe at the same time as I'm pushing 1440p recordings. Will this be possible? I can't say, time will tell but 2025 is the year where it will happen, and soon as well I guess, once the next gen gpus are out I think I will start benchmarking it all.

So hopefully we will se more quality, more videos, YouTube streams and more the coming year!

-----

To close this post I want to say that 2024 was great, now let's make 2025 even better!

I'll see you all in 2025!

This morning, 6 June 2024 I got accepted into the YouTube Partner Program, I started back in August, 2020 with uploading playthroughs and gaming shows (E3, Summer Game Fest etc) and over that time the channel has grown, just like it feels that I've grown if I compare my first videos to my last. It's almost 4 years since I began, which feels a bit unreal since it's passed really fast, and I can't help but to think about one of my favorite quotes:

"I Walk Slowly, But I Never Walk Backward." by Abraham Lincoln. Since It's kinda fits into this journey as well, It's not a records I've "crushed" or anything, but it's a milestone that I definitely will cheerish and keep my head up high about.

Being an introvert and putting yourself out there has never been an easy thing to do. What kept me going? Those people I know that I hopefully help, by making their days easier by watching some low-key content or by winding down and relaxing to some chill videos without much or any profanity.

I got no editor, I had never edited anything in my life before August 2020, from then to now I've been doing all editing and uploading and management by myself. While I've clocked over 10.000 videos (which we did only a few weeks ago and "celebrated" with a channel trailer!) and spent god knows how many hours editing I've collected or how many petabytes of footages I've gone through to make all these videos available here on this channel, It's no doubt an achievement and to be able to show this confirmation to be accepted into the YouTube Partner Program is a proof of it all.

But. Without a question, it all could not have been done without, you. Who has hopefully enjoyed some content that can be found on this channel, who might have loved a certain playthrough or any specific video. Someone who might still be looking forward to some certain playthroughs that hopefully might be coming your way in due time. As a variety content creator, I can't expect everyone to enjoy everything I upload but I hope there is something here that gave a laugh or a smile the very least, and in some way, made your day a better day than it was prior to that moment and will continue to do that to newcomers alike.

You. I got to thanks for this. And I hope this achievement will be something that we all can enjoy, that it can be something that will help me to keep this going and to improve and grow as a content creator for our enjoyment.

So I want to thank you, my dear viewer, reader, visitor, subscriber for being here with me. And I wish you the very best.

Yours Sincerely
Oliver

Okay. I was going to post this two days ago but I'm kinda glad that I didn't in the last second from posting due to what happend in Palworld.

Some of you might have heard of the game "Palworld" It's almost like if Pokémon had a love child with ARK and maybe had some quick affair from Conan Exiles, in some ways..

Either way, I'm having a BLAST in Palworld and been playing it almost 90 hours since release, which is quite a bit.

We started to play on the Official EU Server 0041 on release day, I've been recording a ton of footage of it and then streaming it later in the evening. It's been choppy, quite choppy in fact, but It was still good, like the game was good and it was fun, and it's no surprise, I enjoy all three games I've mentioned above after all.

So two days ago I started editing and rendering a bunch of footage from the release, after starting it I went into the game to check on things before heading off for lunch and when I entered the server I was met with a character creation screen, which made me to believe that I was wiped and my character gone that had just reached level 25 or something.

After doing some digging around I find out that I'm not alone in this, but it did make me question whenever to start all over, lagging everywhere again. So I talked to my friend who I was semi-cooping with and we came up with the solution to get our own Palworld server, hosted in Stockholm Sweden so we would have very fast ping.

And that's what we did.

Now that footage from that new server, is what will be uploaded, I decided that It's probably the best since I can't continue on the other playthrough anymore (obviously). And the first videos of that playthrough will end up on this channel later today.

Just thought to let you lot know why there is no Palworld videos, yet, almost a week after it's release, I've almost caught up with the first character so It was not a huge loss, still sucks but It's what to expect from Early Access games sometimes.

Anyway, I hope you will like it!

- Best Regards

Happy New Year!

I wish everyone a WONDERFUL 2024 and I hope this year will treat you all very kindly and bring good fortune to you all.

As we have now sealed the deal on 2023 I'm now ready to write a bit about it, even if it felt like 2023 went by like a flash at record speed, it was still PACKED with games and probably for me one of the betters years for gaming in a very long time.

I want to start by talking a little short about the top three games I picked out. I'll be linking links to Instagram where I'll discuss them a bit more thoroughly and to avoid this post to be MILES long (no joke, I've been writing a lot.)

--

First Place - Baldur's Gate 3

I picked Baldur's Gate 3 as the best game I've played in 2023 is because It's giving the player a freedom that I've not experienced before. There are so many possibilities in Baldur's Gate 3, so much variety of how you play it. You could steal some end-game loot less than an hour into the game for example, you can kill ANYONE, even the main characters. The main characters have such a life like personalities and the actors really did a remarkable job to bring them to life.

--

Second Place - Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy for me was a magical journey (sorry, I can not help myself to write it that way). I've always been a fan of that universe ever since I was a kid, and I grew up with it as well. I loved how beautiful the game was and the combat was surprisingly smooth, hands down the best combat in any Harry Potter game or set in the same universe. Now sadly that does not say a lot since even sadder, there are not enough games from that universe. A game set from the time of Fantastic Beasts I would LOVE but yes, I can dream until then. While the game had a bit of a mediocre story and forgettable bosses it was still great and a game that made me feel like a student at Hogwarts (that occationally casted the forbidden curses in every duel.)

Third Place - Octopath Traveler 2

Octopath Traveler 2 like it's predecessor is no exception when it comes to epic flashy battles along side an AMAZING soundtrack that is by far some of the best soundtracks I've heard EVER, period. The story is touching and all the characters personality are so different and I really adored the chemistry between them all. A few games out there can be so emotional that it can bring me to tears but this game is one of them, the story is very interesting and I hope we will get a Octopath Traveler 3 in the near future.

Here are some honorable mentions from 2023 that I think deserves some recognition.

Wartales
Final Fantasy XVI
Return to Moria
My Time at Sandrock
Contraband Police
Dave the Diver
Palia

Through 2023 I played 60 different games & over 40 different demos, It was quite a ride and it's been another mixed bag of genres which is how I like it. We also played some expansions this year, Secrets of the Obscure from Guild Wars 2 and Rise of the Angry Earth in New World.

--

Early in 2023 I decided I wanted to try some new things for the YouTube channel, I wanted to see if there was an audience for No Commentary gameplay, and it didn't take long until I realised that there is a bunch of people out there that just want the pure gameplay and I'm really happy to know that I can deliver that alongside the Commentary gameplay.

As of this writing moment we got 36 No Commentary PLAYLISTS, with HUNDREDS if not even close to a thousand of episodes.

Later in 2023 I decided yet again I wanted to try another thing, this time I wanted to see if I could be making some Swedish playthroughs as well along side No Commentary and the Commentary gameplay.

While the reception of it was lukewarm at best, I decided to pull that plug ~30 hours in or so.

There are three reasons why I came to that conclusion.

1. I had already doubled the amount of work & time by starting with No Commentary videos, which was already cutting into my sleeping schedule enough, but still managable, adding Swedish playthrough on top of that I felt would not been working in a long run health wise.

2. Replayability, If I decided to go this route and play for example Far Cry 5 in English (as usual) and make No Commentary for that as well and then make a Swedish playthrough of it as well, that means I would have to multitask two different playthrough saves, which would result in a few things.

2a. It would remove the "surprising" moments since I would be already aware of it, it could even suffer the English playthrough if I would get ahead in the Swedish one.

2b. It would also have removed a bunch of me theorycraftig or figuring stuff out which I think adds some charm to the videos as well, when you discover something or get a "bright idea.

2c. If the game would offer very linear gameplay I would most likely be repeating what I did in the previous gameplay, looping the entire game for myself, which would eventually become boring for me, and result in not something I would be proud to call "content".

3. The views was not that high, and most Swedes know English just as good as Swedish, by focusing on videos targeted to Swedish viewers, I would unfortunately lock out all non-swedish viewers as well, and I think that would be a loss overall.

In the end I settled on No Commentary and Commentary in English, It's something I can handle and intend to continue with.

--

I also want to say Hi to all the new subscribers and viewers that we have gotten along the road in 2023 and I hope you all enjoyed what you have seen so far and that you will enjoy what is to come.

We are slowly moving towards 10.000 videos as well and I'm confident that's something we will break in 2024.

And not only that, less than two weeks ago we broke 250.000 views across the channel!

--

So what's on the horizon of 2024?

Gaming wise? It's hard to say at this stage. I'm still pushing Project Zomboid as I'm writing this (got even 20 videos of it rendering and uploading next to me) and I think we got a bunch of hours left there before I feel satisfied, I might also plan a coop playthrough of it, but I can't promise anything about that.

Besides that I've planned in Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom which I would love to come up real shortly, already this month even but again, no promises.

What I can promise however is that we will play Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on it's launch, and same as most other major launches, you can expect videos to be uploaded on daily basis.

Also, since Grand Theft Auto VI is arriving now in 2025 I want to play Grand Theft Auto V maybe 100% before that, so we will look into that as well this year, It's quite a big game, especially if we go 100% in it.

--

As for the channel.

I got some projects that I want to try out. I'm still working on it and I want to see if I'm first up to the task for it, I don't want to say too much about it since I don't even know If I can pull it off. But all I can say is that it involves some immersive gameplay with storytelling that also will test my editing skills, so it's TBD at this point but we will see.

Regardless of what happens to that I'll keep uploading playthroughs as 2024 moves towards 2025.

And of course, If I decide to try something on the channel, here will be where I'll be posting first about it.

--

I want to finish this post by saying thank you to all of you who are here and I'm grateful for it.

Now let's take on 2024!

--

Best Wishes

Merry Christmas everyone!

I wish you all have a great day today (or tomorrow depending on where you are located!) and that you all get to spend time with family and friends!

I'll be doing a bit more lenghty wall of text at the end of this year with the summery of the year and my top three best games I've played through 2023 and some other mentions and some changes I've tried to the channel across the year as well, same as what is coming.

From me, to you, I hope you have a fantastic Christmas.

Hello Everyone!

Lenghty post incoming, just some upcoming things to the channel and all! Nothing to worry about!

I hope everyone is well and has been well since my last message. I like to give an update on what's on the horizon for the channel.

Yesterday Baldur's Gate 3 released, which is probably one of the most anticipated games of this year, if not the most ambitious the very least. The first batch of videos from it is on it's way and I guess the ETA for it would be sometime within the next 24 hours, should be earlier, I will have to censor some nudity in it to prevent it to be locked behind +18 restrictions.

Some time ago I started making No Commentary playthroughs, I've gotten some feedback regarding it and it seems like people are enjoying/appreciating it. As of now, it's here to stay, as I said back then, the "original" concept will of course remain.

.

Since I'm convinced to keep doing the No Commentary playthroughs, I'm now going to start with a "new concept" to try for some time ahead, or for some certain games.

It will be playthroughs in Swedish, first batch of it will be with Baldur's Gate 3 which I'll be recording during the livestream I'm having planned in less than four hours. I'm planning to do a more evil/unruly/rude playthrough on that while our english one is more how I would really play the game.

This new playthrough will come in two parts, It will be a cam and commentary version in Swedish and the second one will be no commentary and no cam but will be labeled "No Commentary - Svenska/Swedish" or so.

The reason behind this is that it does open up for non-swedish viewers to also watch that playthrough since It wont be any Swedish commentary in it and in general it does open up another kind of playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3 compared to the first one I'm having in English, so people can see the differences or the other outcomes.

Again. With the addition of this, I do want to say yet again that the original concept in english, and the no commentary one wont be affected by this and will keep coming as usual.

This new one I'll be keeping an eye on, if the reception is well It will stay, if not I wont continue with the swedish playthroughs.

The first videos of the swedish Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough will most likely arrive in over 24 hours, and I'll be live with it at 8AM CEST today.

.

I also want to touch my streaming schedule a bit before I mention some upcoming games.

My original stream time has been since I began in 2020 8PM CEST, It has had some back and forth now and then due to holidays and such but for the last 1½ year, It's been very random and I'm not pleased with it, It went from 8PM CEST to 9PM to 10PM to 11PM to 12PM to after midnight even.

The reason why this happend has mainly to due to my sleeping habits and mental health after my grandma got ill last year in february and later passed away last august and we didn't finish to sort out all of her things + she was not put to rest until march of this year. After that I've taken my time to mourn a bit. I dont want it to sound like I'm blamming my passed grandma since I'm not, fault is pretty much entierly mine and I choose sleep over being on time.

I've started to come back to the original schedule now, regular streams will happen at 8PM CEST and then we also will try to have streams at 8AM CEST as well for a few hours before lunch. Stream lenghts will be a bit shorter too, with some exception to some games, and try to be split up into two streams instead. The morning stream will happen on YouTube now and then as well, the one in the evening is for Twitch.

I still need some time before I've nailed this schedule back where it belongs, which is why I might appear a bit "tired/sleepy" in some coming videos and on stream. It's baby steps, but we will get back to where I want to be.

.

Now for upcoming games! This is pretty much still TBD but these are pretty much already decided.

Baldur's Gate 3 - (no surprise there, I've already mentioned them)
Gord
En Garde!
Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure Expansion

And there might be some more coming too, usually there is something that I'll squeeze in here and there.

That should cover August fairly well, we might also play Atlas Fallen but I'm on the fence about it for now + August is PACKED with games, it's impossible to catch them all, not to mention that Starfield is coming in September, which will also end up on the channel when it's time.

.

Lenghty post, lots to read. Many videos coming.

I hope everyone will have a fantastic Fall and I wish everyone the very best.

- Best Regards

Oliver

Busy week is incoming, the channel will be on fire!

Besides some intense farming in Diablo 4, (about 30 hours of footage is on it's way as I'm writing this, including FIXED no commentary) it's that time of year where the gaming shows start to make it's appearance.

Summer Game Fest 2023 Opening Showcase - Thursday 8th June
Day of the Devs - Thursday 8th June
Devolver Direct - Thursday 8th June
Tribeca Games Spotlight - Friday 9th June
Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct - Sunday 11th June
PC Gaming Show - Sunday 11th June
Ubisoft Forward - Monday 12th June
Capcom Showcase - Monday 12th June

Now I'll be covering them all, and all will then end up here afterwards, same as last year!

The biggest shows is most likely Summer Game Fest, Devolver Direct, Xbox, Pc Gaming and Ubisoft. Although, last year I think I prefered the smaller showcases more, where they showed more indie games. I think i added about 20 games or so to my watchlist on Steam due to it. So they will all be pretty nice to watch and it will be pretty chill just to sit and watch some upcoming games.

Oh and the remaining episodes of Wartales will be published over the coming days.
