After 9 years of dreaming-up and planning-out a 6 shipping container home, the stars have finally aligned! We sold our home with 6 acres and purchased a 100 year old farm house on 60 acres next door. We quit our jobs.....no wait we couldn’t but that would be nice!!! Ian and I own a small glass company he started in his 20's, and have 2 kids in school and sports. So we juggle it all while trying to build this house in our spare time. From tearing down our existing home to completion of our new one get a front row, detailed view on how we do it. This is a channel for everyone, from the do it yourself'er to the person who contracts it out. Learn from our mistakes and share in our victories!

Made the paper yesterday and today marks 3 years ago taking down our farmhouse and starting this project, been an adventure and one crazy ride for us both, so great to settle in and enjoy our dream home as a family!!

We have been helping set up this benefit up since fall. TODAY IS THE DAY!!! These are great friends of ours we have known for 15 plus years. Besides that, they also sold their home in June of 2021(we took down our old farm house April 2021) and bought raw land down the road from us to build Jesse dream shop complete with a apartment above with the hopes of building a home on the land for themselves. Our fellow "do it yourselves" friends lived in a camper for 17 months and 9 months in the apartment before the fire took it all and before they were going to break grown on the house build. We take a break from a video this week to focus on this event. So honored to help out friends and bless them in their time of need. All money raised will help them build a home and help rebuild Jesse's plumbing business.

It has been a minute......or months since we have posted. We really wanted to get in a rhythm of posted videos again but what can we say we didn't! Our marriage, our children, work and the house being worked on have come first before creating and posting our videos but we are NOT DONE!! We will continue to share and see our build completed, that we can guarantee. We are near the end and we can definitely see the finish line. This journey is not for the faunt of heart. It has kicked our butts physically, mentally, and our family unit in more ways then one. A sneek peak of our siding, I can't wait for you to see our next video coming out mid month!!! The siding being completed is amazing, hang in there with us to see it!! Thanks for all who have been watching!!!

yeah you never know what could be going on, I just thought it was funny that they said that and it’s been 5 months lol. For all we know they could have separated or gotten divorced or any number of things. All good.
