BRINGING DOWN THE BAND (est. 2009) is a Hip Hop music and culture amplifier, founded and now curated by Sean Stuart (aka Lonegevity). Starting out as a Hip Hop blog sharing Hip Hop-related music from 2009-2016, with over 12k posts amplifying Hip Hop music and artists, we switched to YouTube and started playlisting and sharing news when blogging slowly died. We launched a weekly Hip Hop culture podcast called the New Old Heads in 2016 with a focus on Hip Hop deep dives and news. The panelists are Lonegevity, DJ Jay Diff, Maja 7th, and J. Moore.
BDTB has actively supported and collaborated with many creators in the Hip Hop space, been very active in boosting the Indianapolis Hip Hop and beat scene, conducted multiple interviews with Hip Hop voices and artists, and continued to curate impactful and important Hip Hop media. Visit the website for more info. 🏁
