Hello everyone! I've started digitizing a new batch of tapes. I've got some goodies to share! There'll be one new upload a day until I run out of things from this batch. Enjoy!
Some of you may notice the watermark of a certain network getting blurred in my uploads. This is intentional. With said network now sending out copyright strikes for videos that contain their logo, even for titles they do not hold the rights to, I have decided that I will not be taking any chances and will be removing their logo from any content I will be uploading.
This is an absolute terrible decision on their part, but they hold the rights to their logo, so they can enforce copyright as they see fit. Don't send them emails complaining this. Send them emails about how they are incompetent and unable to broadcast 4:3 programming properly. Send them emails about how they decided after two weeks to randomly take off holiday library content that was doing well in the ratings after they announced they would be running it all month long. Send them emails about how they refuse to open their own vaults and air the game shows people actually want to see and not the game show equivalent of Mr. Pibb.
While I am displeased with the network's practices, they are the ones making the decisions. Not me. I wish them well with their revival of Split Second. I hope they all have long and happy careers. I do not mean any single person who works for that network any harm. Business is business, and even though I don't think they're doing the right thing, they're the ones in charge and not me.
On a similar note, I had a hard drive failure earlier in the year which is what caused the temporary hiatus. More game show goodies will be arriving for Christmas.
Merry Christmas! Enjoy Christmas by listening to the 1996 Vanna White Christmas Album, Santa's Last Ride! Very little of this album has surfaced online since it's original release and I recently found a copy of it!
