OK, Guys. I bought the X-H2s and love every bit of this camera. I needed a second body and it was a toss between the X-H2 and the X-S20. I chose the X-H2. 📷 Now, I want to make a video on my YouTube channel (@jacquesgaines) about being the owner of both cameras, and I need your insight. 🤔
I do not want to talk about specs all the time and would like to focus on human aspects between the two cameras.
I need your input on these workflow-based points:
🎥Besides XH2S for video and XH2 for stills what other utilities are each one better for?
How do these two cameras complement each other
🧑🏭What workflow is each one more advantageous for
Are they really different? Is it worth the price difference?
If you own both, let me know why
Who would you recommend these cameras for
😡What gets you mad about both?
I have my ideas about the two but love hearing from others
All camera/lens/gear combinations are fun to hear about.
After all, gear remains a lovely topic to talk about.

The great thing about photography is that all pivotal human events in the last century were photographed 😁. I recently uploaded videos about human events (a skew away from my normal channel theme). If you have not checked those videos, look at my video on Artificial Intelligence and photography or the one on the Martin Luther King jr. I have a dream speech.

HOW DO YOU PRINT? DO YOU EVEN PRINT?
Photos shot with the X-H2S and the X-S10 (preferred lenses are the 16-55mm f/2.8 and the 35mm f/2)
Recently, I had to process photos to print for my walls at home. I've been wanting to do this for a while. I chose these photos and went with a black-and-white treatment. However, doing this exercise got me thinking of how difficult it is to decide on what to print and how to print it. I have been publishing my work online for so long that I forgot that printing is still the ultimate way to publish.
Questions that come up are:
Should I print the homeless man? And where do I place him in my house? Should he be in the dining area or the den?
Vertical or horizontal prints?
Black and white or Colour?
Could I make a photo presentation with several photos?
I went with a company called Optimalprint up here in Canada. They are cheap, and the quality is so-so, but printing might be the one place where it is good to spare no expense.
What has your printing adventure been like? Any preferred suppliers I should know about?

MidJourney is an AI image-creation tool that can give astonishing results. It all depends on what prompts you give the software. I have discovered that by adding camera type, lighting, facial features, and even a famous photographer's style you can go a long way.
📷
My prompts on these were simple:
*
For the closeup of both brunettes in black and white, I used the following simple prompt:
*
A close-up portrait of a beautiful model with long dark hair and green eyes staring directly into the camera, intense stare, photorealistic, shot like Herb Ritts, grainy film look, shot with Nikon F1, focussed light, dark background.
*
In my next post, I will show you some of the mistakes that can occur as well. Some are hilarious

Which is your favourite?
Hey guys. I just partnered up with a company called Magic Studio. They make all kinds of cool photography solutions. This includes avatars for your profile, blowing up photos, erasing unwanted parts of an image, and even dictating a photo. Too cool.
But for the profile pic, you upload a whole bunch of photos, and you wait for the AI to do what it does.
Sometimes the results were spot on, but sometimes, it missed a bit. It might be because of my in-between skin colour 🤓.
Each avatar processing costs 4.99. I got a crazy bunch of photos with one shot. Very very promising indeed.
Stay tuned to see more content on this A.I. based photo portal.

Same question: Colour or Black and White. Pose one or pose two. Two completely different poses for sure.
📷
Portrait week! This week I will go through a bunch of portraits I took with @lea.godin from @emamodels . Stay tuned for the next post where I reveal some of the @photoshop rules all portrait photographers stick to.
📷
I added these two sets to just show you how good model poses change everything. I am not joking when I tell you that in this session I would simply click the stutter and Léa would simply move on to the next perfect pose.
📷
The mood was on demand. First shot, I asked her to be a little sensual, I got "A LITTLE SENSUAL". Second shot I asked her to look in the camera and be intense. She gave me exactly that.
