Hey Family, today we got up early and went to Church. Being honest we haven’t been for a while. We have still been believing but haven’t gone to Church in Dubai since we moved here. We were invited by some good friends of ours to their daughter’s baptism, so you know we had to show up. We had a bit of a bad experience with the last Church we called home in the UK but we feel like God might be telling us it’s time to call a Church home in Dubai. Can’t believe it has actually been over 2 years since we left the UK to move to Dubai!! This was us 3 months in from when we moved. It has been emotional and we have shared it all on our channel here. It has been hard but for us it has been worth it. If you are thinking of doing something big, maybe this is your sign to do it. For us we spoke about doing something like this, over and over. Then one day we decided we would just hop on a plane and do it. Things didn’t go to plan at all to be honest 😅, but we are here over 2 years on and thankful.

Thanks to all of you who have been on the journey with us and supported us, we appreciate you. Also thank you to all of you that have reached out to us and told us that we have inspired you, this is something we will never get used to. To be honest we didn’t really fully take in the power of what we were doing, we were just sharing our family life.

So Myra had her first football game today against Man City Dubai with her new team. She chose football (I’m sorry basketball we lost one 😩), she joined the academy a few weeks ago.

It wasn’t just a special day for her today, it was also a special day for Dad. Some of you will know that I never had my Dad around growing up and being present with my girls in this way is everything.

We had so much talent in our house and I grew up around so much talent that was wasted due to kids not having the support, as it just wasn’t possible.

Myra has not been playing at this level for as long as the other girls but she gave her all and we couldn’t be prouder of her. She has made good progress in just a few weeks, I even saw her do a cheeky little turn on a player today.

We have to get used to getting up on a Saturday though. The 6 AM wake up on Saturday was brutal 😅❤️

Hey family, hope you had a good weekend. We went out for the first time for a while to have some food and shake a leg with friends. We had to dust off some cobwebs 😅 but when the correct music played, we were activated and it was like we never left. The next morning though we remembered ourselves. Our kids seem to not understand lie in but it’s all good 😅. ❤️

This is one of the last photos we took in London and we miss London. 😢 We love it in Dubai but London is where it all started and it will always be a part of us. 3 things we miss: chinese takeaway, Turkish food & family & friends. Yes we are foodies so 2 on the list for food. Dubai has a lot of great food but the Turkish and Chinese food just doesn’t hit like London for us, it could be because it’s what we are used to. Also actually UK fish and chips too as a bonus 4 that we miss.
