1) An Enviro200 on the S4 at Sutton Police Station.
2) A Volvo BZL on the 314 around Bromley. It's been a while since I've taken a BZL, if I remember correctly the last time I caught one was on the 299's first day using them!
3) A BYD BD11 on the Superloop SL4 on Blackheath Common, definitely one of the most scenic spots on the Superloop network.
4) An Enviro200 MMC on the 284 at Lewisham Centre with a StreetDeck Electroliner on the 199 in the background.
5) A 12m Enviro200EV on the 108 at Lewisham Centre, barely fitting into frame.
6) An Enviro200EV facing the sun on the 164 at Sutton, Grove Road.
7) An Enviro400 City EV on the 353 at the beginning of Orpington High Street.
8) An Enviro200 MMC on the 181 around Bellingham.
9) A slightly uncommon 10.3m Kite on the 493 at Fairacres.
And if you're wondering how a Kite is uncommon on this route, Beddington Cross (BC) currently run two routes using GB Kites, the S1 and 493. Shorter LV75s are allocated to the S1 while 10.9m LX26 plate 2nd generation Kites are allocated to the 493. These two batches rarely intermix as longer buses don't seem to be deemed suitable on the S1 despite the route formerly using 10.8m Enviro200s, while 10.3m buses on a route as busy as the 493 isn't great (and yes, I'm aware these are practically the same length as the SN12 E200s previously allocated to the route, they barely coped either).

1) A New Routemaster on the 21 at Lewisham Station.
2) Recently transferred 10.2m StreetLite WS65 (SL16YPK) seen on the P4 at Lewisham Station. This bus transferred from Morden Wharf (MG) where it was replaced by Enviro400 MMC hybrids on the 286. I'm not sure why they decided to transfer the non-standard shorter StreetLite to New Cross but some variety is appreciated. If only the micro hybrid StreetLite survived, I never got the chance to ride that.
3) A Gemini 3 Hybrid on the 85 at Cromwell Road Bus Station, Kingston.
4) An Enviro200 MMC on the 181 at Lewisham Station.
5-6) An Enviro200 MMC on the R68 curtailed to Richmond, Manor Circus.
7-8) An MCV EvoSeti on the 144 around White Hart Lane.
9) The interior of a Metroline Enviro200 on the 327 around Waltham Cross. This bus has since been withdrawn.

After weeks of nonstop sun I'm actually relieved to have some cloudy weather for a bit! Here are a few pictures taken today during a day trip which has led me in circles around southwest London.

Channel Update:
Between the 27th of July and 20th of August I'll be going abroad. This is a pretty minor update as I'll continue to post regular videos on here, and in fact will probably upload more frequently than you're used to! I've spent the past week or so gathering and stockpiling footage for a few new series you might've heard about.

The only real difference my trip will have on this channel is that I'll only respond to comments between 6am and around 1-2pm, that's pretty much the only reason why I've announced this. I know a lot of you enjoy commenting (something which I really appreciate by the way) so just know that I'll take a bit longer to respond than you're used to.

And no, I won't be revealing where I'm going just yet, you'll have to find out in the foreign videos I'm posting over summer!

Tender Announcement - 21st of July 2026
Route 307 has been retained by Arriva London North with 16 new and existing electric double deckers, likely BD11s to go with the 191. The route's peak vehicle requirement will be increased by 2, absolutely great news as this route is pretty unreliable from my experiences.

The 307's new contract starts on the 5th of December 2026 and ends on the 2nd of December 2033.

Route 621 has been retained by Stagecoach with 1 existing electric double decker.

Route 638 will no longer be operated by Stagecoach, instead being run by GoAhead London with existing hybrid double deckers.

Route 661 has been retained by Stagecoach with an existing double decker.

Route 669 has been retained by Stagecoach with 2 existing electric double deckers.

Route 672 has been retained by Stagecoach with 3 existing hybrid double deckers.

The 621, 661, 669 and 672's new contracts all start in October 2027 and end in 2034. The 638's contract starts in September 2027 and ends in September 2030.

Electric vehicles may enter service after the contract start date, dependent on infrastructure and/or vehicle delivery timescales.

The hybrid vehicles detailed above will meet Euro VI emissions standards.
