6) A New Routemaster on the Superloop SL11 at its second stop at Abbey Wood Station.
7) An Enviro200 MMC seen during stand time on route K3 at Roehampton Vale, Asda.
8) An uncommon Gemini 3 Hybrid on the 131 at Kingston, Eden Street.
9) An Enviro400 City EV on the 213 at Sutton Police Station.

1) An Enviro400 MMC hybrid on the 179 nearing its terminus in Ilford town centre.
2) A Gemini 3 Hybrid on the 468 at Spurgeon's Bridge, near Croydon.
3) A BYD BD11 on the Superloop SL5 at Bromley South Station.
4-6) A New Routemaster on the 176 at Elephant & Castle, London Road and Waterloo Station. I was hoping for a conventional Enviro400 MMC or Gemini 3 as Camberwell garage send these out on a daily basis but unfortunately got a New Routemaster instead.
7) A New Routemaster on the 19 around Clerkenwell.
8) A New Routemaster on the 38 at Sadlers Wells Theatre. Didn't know Clapton garage still had New Routemasters which have yet to be refurbished. The 19 and 38 will soon be changed, with new route 10 replacing part of these routes. For a detailed explanation of these changes, watch this video:

Today marks 21 years since the 7/7 bombings, a day London won't ever forget. Terrorist attacks on three tube trains and a bus claimed the lives of 52 people, as well as injuring over 750. Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by this horrible moment, including the family and friends who lost loved ones, and of course the innocent lives unfairly taken that day.

How would you compare different bus systems?

I've come up with a few methods of comparison, these are:
A - Frequency of buses
B - Size of the network
C - Reliability
D - Usage
E - Experience (comfort)
F - Fares
G - Accessibility
H - Safety
I - Night service

How would you rank each method from the most important factor when judging a bus system, to the least important factor? I'd say frequency & size of the network are the most important, but what about you?

You can also suggest other methods of judging bus systems, such as variety etc.

If your local bus route started using your least favourite buses, how would you react?

A - Avoiding the route at all costs, using any alternatives

B - Avoiding the route when convenient

C - Continue using it as much as you do now, it's too useful to avoid and a change of buses isn't that important

Ending off the week with some of my favourite pictures I've taken recently. As usual, I won't be making community posts this weekend as I will be uploading two videos, one at around 10-12 tomorrow (Saturday) and one on Sunday.

Pictures:
1) A New Routemaster on the Superloop SL11 gliding through Thamesmead North.
2-3) An Enviro400 MMC smart hybrid on school route 602. I caught this bus for a stops in Thamesmead and it was nice and empty. As seen in picture 3, this bus scrolled through the 472 before showing Not in Service, quite fitting as this picture was taken just a couple of metres from the old 472's line of route.
4) An Enviro400 on the 244 in the sun at Thamesmead Town Centre, Watersmeet Place.
5) An ex-Abellio Enviro200 MMC on the 469 near Abbey Wood.
6) A Gemini 2 Hybrid on the 96 with the most unprofessional driver I've witnessed this year. Not only did he think it was okay to stop in the middle of the road, not even attempting to pull up to the kerb despite there being some space, he almost shut the door on me as I was boarding (with several people behind me wanting to get on) and even skipped the third stop at Woolwich Station with the bus barely even half full, let alone at capacity! But hey, at least he didn't give me grief for taking pictures, unlike most rude drivers I encounter.
7) An Enviro400EV on the Superloop SL3 around Hurst Lane, Abbey Wood. Next stop Bexleyheath Station.
8) The side of an ex-Merton/493 Enviro200 on the 469 at Hurst Lane.
9) An Enviro400 MMC Hybrid on the 53 at Woolwich Arsenal Station. I caught this bus earlier today in my attempt to catch the bus in picture 10.
10) The sun sets on a diesel 493. Both literally and metaphorically. As a reminder, my next videos will be out this weekend.
