Hello and welcome to Adventures of the Broke and Retired. Glad you could stop in!! I'm very recently retired and figured I'd make a YouTube channel and maybe have a little fun, never anticipating it would all go as well as it has! For now I'm spending as much time as I can learning the ins and out of how to do all this. I posted one video and learned a few things. I'm going to work on fixing some of the problems and getting better at this and then post another one. You may want to follow me just to watch the progress, if there is any! Good afternoon!! Thank you so much for being here!! I started working on a new video a couple weeks ago. It's been a hard one to research as there's little information out there about it, but when I did find it, it was quite the surprise! It's a very interesting story that I'm still researching. There's some questions I'd like to include answers to. It'll be a couple more weeks I'm sure, but I think it's going to make a good story. This is Barney the day we adopted him. Little did we know at that time that innocent little face would be digging holes and breaking the fence in our backyard for years to come!! Thank y'all SO MUCH for your support!!!!!!

Great news!!! Do you recall in my Jefferson Park Nature Walk video I mentioned I was there because the interview I had planned for the day fell through? Anyone remember that? Well, the great news is I spoke to them yesterday and the interview is scheduled for this Thursday, October 2nd. I'm pretty stoked! My first interview, and it's at a very cool place, so be watching!! If I do it right, if I don't screw it up, it should be a video almost everyone will really like. Wish me luck!! Oh... The dog below... That's our dog Karen, Grhs (God rest her soul), with her squeaky banana. She loved that banana. We miss her.

Molly is my step daughter, but she's also a friend and a subscriber. She sent me a comment about this picture. She said the duration between start and finish was three years!! That's dedication, not to mention an incredible job of keeping track of all those tiny little pieces over such a long period!!
