I am so stoked to share that I hired an editor! The Wastewater Enthusiast is about to get a lot better. Editing is not my favorite thing in the world. It’s actually the biggest bottleneck I have in my creative process. Now I’m so thrilled to be able to focus on educational content and storytelling the way I love to do it, and give the super detailed editing process off to a professional who loves to do that.

And did I hire an overseas editor to keep costs down? No way! I hired a firm right here in San Luis Obispo County! I’ll be uploading some raw footage to them this week and hope to have my first edited video by them out before the end of the month.

If I were a smart bear I would have delayed the launch of Wastewater Study Sessions to do a little more research on WHEN would be the best time for everyone to join. Seems to be the biggest hang up for folks right now. SO. Starting in October (post-WEFTEC), I’m going to be live-streaming weekly here on YouTube. These will be FREE and open to everyone, and they’ll be about 10-15 mins or so to work out a math problem or explain a concept. I’m going to scatter these throughout the times of the day and days of the week to see how many people actually tune in. That’ll help me establish the best times to host these more official study groups.
