Hey y’all! Things are popping on all fronts here at The Wastewater Enthusiast! Something that’s happened over the last year (since picking up live teaching gigs) is that I’ve gotten better at live-streaming and presenting to a live audience. So here’s my question for you: should I build a 2nd version of my popular exam prep series? A new, live practice exam where you can interact with me over the live chat? It would be 3 distinct streams for the different grade levels. (I haven’t forgotten about that Grade 3-5 terminology I promised y’all!)
However you vote will not affect my weekly livestreams. Those will still happen.

Ok everyone a quick content update! I have another interview coming your way this week sometime. This time with an 18 year old certified wastewater operator from Minnesota! Then I go to WEFTEC to film some Operations Challenge content and then in early October will be a video on Activated Sludge Process Variations. I will also be starting my weekly 15 min live streams on a study topic. We’ll see how long I can maintain that pace 😆
On that note! My first study session went great last Friday. 7 of you logged onto zoom and could speak with me and ask questions directly and I felt it went well. I’m looking to schedule another one. So if you’re interested in being in a small study group over Zoom with me, let me know which Grade level I should do next! Vote below.

I am so stoked to share that I hired an editor! The Wastewater Enthusiast is about to get a lot better. Editing is not my favorite thing in the world. It’s actually the biggest bottleneck I have in my creative process. Now I’m so thrilled to be able to focus on educational content and storytelling the way I love to do it, and give the super detailed editing process off to a professional who loves to do that.
And did I hire an overseas editor to keep costs down? No way! I hired a firm right here in San Luis Obispo County! I’ll be uploading some raw footage to them this week and hope to have my first edited video by them out before the end of the month.
