Today's recommendation is from two YouTubers who do not need my help, @gettheetothestitchery and @GraceDuVal (who I love as a designer, but she is also geographically close to me, so I always see places I know in her videos), checking out creative reuse centers in California.
There's a brand-new creative reuse center in Massachusetts called Creative Chaos which is right across the street from the Commuter Rail station, so Grace, should you read this, it might be of interest to you.

I finally tackled a small project I've wanted to do for a couple of months now, making use of an old IKEA greenhouse and turning it into a customized lamp. It took no time at all, and I think the result is a one-of-a-kind lamp that looks like it's made out of a small stained glass building.

I am finished with this piece, which I titled, "Trashed Heart #2," after a piece that sold for the highest price I've ever garnered for a painting...I got none of those proceeds, as it was at an auction for a nonprofit gallery, but I wanted to see if I could raise the same several hundreds of dollars for this year's auction with a companion piece.
