Velvet Riff is entering a new chapter.

Over the past months, this channel has explored progressive rock covers and reworks. We’re grateful for everyone who listened, supported, and connected with that side of Velvet Riff.

However, because of increasing technical challenges and higher copyright risks around producing cover-based music, we’ve decided to shift the main direction of this channel.

From now on, Velvet Riff will focus on original instrumental progressive rock music created for deep work, focus, coding, studying, reading, and creative flow.

The spirit of progressive rock will still be here: evolving riffs, atmospheric guitars, odd-time grooves, cinematic build-ups, and guitar-driven energy. But the music will be built with a clearer purpose: to help progressive rock listeners stay focused during work, study, and long creative sessions.

No vocals. No distractions. Just evolving riffs for focus.

We hope this new direction can still be enjoyed by progressive rock fans who want music with the soul of prog, but in a form that supports concentration and daily productivity.
