Why do planes always board from the left? Planes board from the left side because of a global aviation standard built around safety and efficiency. Passenger doors are placed on the left, while the right side is reserved for ground operations like catering, fueling, and baggage handling, keeping travellers away from heavy vehicles and equipment. This setup dates back to maritime traditions and has been locked in by aircraft design, airport layouts, and crew procedures worldwide. Jet bridges, terminals, and cabin workflows all use left-side boarding, making it the safest, simplest, and most consistent way to get passengers on board. #Aviation #PlaneBoarding #AviationFacts

They will be launched in 2027 with flag carrier Air Cambodia. As always, the price point will determine how popular they are. Here are the concept photos released by ATR. #atr #aircambodia

It's fair to say that Ryanair planes won't be getting Starlink anytime soon (not that they need it for budget short-haul flights anyway). The airline CEO Michael O'Leary claims the antennas add a '2% fuel penalty' because of the drag. www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/musk-ry…
