What? It's honestly insane how many people don't understand old arcade video game design.
"How dare a game have any sort of inconvenience or expect me to get good at it and engage with its mechanics. No, the game must play itself so I can experience everything in it as quickly as possible and move on to another game."
Obviously, people have preferences for how they want to play their games, but the problem is so many people just don't understand why old games are designed the way they are. They just say they're outdated, or that they were never good. A game may not be for you, that doesn't mean it's badly designed.
