The Evangelistic Association of the East is a non-governmental organization founded in 1924 by Late Lamented 'Malphono Nasiho' Very Rev. Geevarghese Cor-Episcopo Athunkal. The EAE has Orphanages, Old Age Homes, educational institutions, Archdiocese under the Syriac Orthodox Church and is based on the regions of Kerala & Karnataka.
The ideals of the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ became an inspiration for our causes. We endorse an affiliation with the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch. The Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, currently H.H. Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, is the supreme patron of the association. ‘Arise, Shine’ is the slogan of the association, based on the bible verse on the book of Isaiah 60:01.
