You may have noticed I've been a little quieter than usual lately. The truth is, I've been heads-down on not one but two projects I'm incredibly excited about. The first is a secret — a surprise I'm not ready to reveal just yet, but trust me, it's been worth every stolen hour. The second is a new dark fantasy novel: a fae romance where the lines between hero and villain don't just blur — they disappear entirely. Morally grey to the absolute maximum. Between these two projects and my ever-loyal ADHD, Blood of the Ancient has been sitting in its final stage, waiting just a little longer than I'd planned. (I know. I know.) But then something rather interesting started happening:

Twice now — unprompted, inexplicably — my Alexa speakers have suddenly started blasting Written in Blood's playlist. On their own. In the dead of quiet.

Call it a glitch. Call it the universe sending me a message. Call it Ivan Lockhart being his usual insufferable self and demanding I stop making him wait. Whatever it is, it got my attention. Today it happened again, and this time, I'm listening.
Blood of the Ancient is coming. The wait is nearly over — and I promise you, it will be worth every page.
