When Packt approached me with the idea of writing a book about #Svelte, I found myself in a bit of a dilemma. The thought that kept me up at night was the possibility of my work becoming obsolete too soon. With the tech world moving so fast, there was a real chance that by the time I finished writing, Svelte 5 would be out, making some of my insights less relevant.

But then, I had a realization. Instead of just focusing on the current features of Svelte, why not explore the underlying thought processes? How about delving into the 'whys' and 'hows' of Svelte development? So, that's what I did. I wrote this book with a focus on the thinking and problem-solving aspects that I believe will be useful long after Svelte 5 makes its debut.
