A new year doesn’t wait for motivation — it responds to action.

The first working week of 2026 is already behind us, and I’ve been reflecting on what it actually looks like to move in alignment with big goals — not in theory, but in practice.





Here’s what my first work week looked like:

• Scheduled a collaboration planning session with Ashley Sard, an industry giant serving Veterans

• My interview on The Unbreakable Mompreneurs Podcast with Charisse Walker was released

• Interviewed on the Deals With Heels Podcast with Debra Bowers (promo clips coming this week)

• Interviewed on the She’s BEYOND Elevated Podcast with Dr. Kimberly Dunlap, EdD, CPCU, AIC-M, MBA

• Booked a collaboration with Dr. Corey Winn to be interviewed on The Next Level Women Show

• Invited by Sharon Jackson, President of The National Women’s Collaborative, to host a live workshop for her community

• Had a coffee chat with Tania P. Brown, CFP® — we agreed to become referral partners and planning to host a summit with 3 other powerhouse women in May (stay tuned for details)

• Published two new YouTube videos

• Announced two live events for January:

– Starting a Business When You Can’t Get a Job (60+ women already registered)

– Next Level Women Networking (100+ women already registered)

• Welcomed two new private clients





People sometimes call results like this “luck.”



I don’t see it that way.





I’m deeply grateful and blessed by God — and I’ve learned that faith feels strongest when it’s supported by intentional, income-producing action.





What stood out to me most wasn’t the outcomes themselves, but the clarity that comes from showing up as the CEO of your business and moving with intention — even when no one is watching.





The year is already moving.





And I’m choosing to meet it with actions that match the future I’m praying for.

Can we talk about something that’s been sitting heavy with me lately?

The past couple of months I have watched so many talented, heart-led coaches quietly spiral down because their business feels “too quiet” or “slower than it should be.”

And I get it.
When things aren’t moving, the mind starts filling in the gaps.
Doubt gets louder.
Comparison creeps in.
And suddenly, quitting feels like relief.

But here’s the truth most people won’t say out loud 👇

A slow season isn’t a signal to panic.
It’s an invitation.

An invitation to stop numbing yourself with “busy work”.
To close the 26 open tabs.
To stop waiting for the “perfect” strategy.
And to finally create instead of consume.

Because this is the part no one sees…

The women who keep showing up when it feels quiet—
who refine their message, deepen their conviction, and stay visible when it would be easier to disappear—
they’re the ones who look like “overnight successes” later.

This is the separation season.
Not louder. Not busier.
More rooted.

So I’ll ask you gently…

When things feel uncomfortable—
do you retreat…
or do you rise?

Stop worrying.
Not because “everything will magically work out”…
but because worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet sends your nervous system into anxious apprehension.

And here’s the part most people miss 👇

When you worry, you don’t just think about a future problem —
you borrow stress from a future that doesn’t exist.

You mentally rehearse the worst-case scenario.
Your body reacts as if it’s already happening.
Your energy drains.
Your creativity shuts down.

And the time and energy you spend worrying?
That’s the exact same time and energy you could have used to:
• find solutions
• create safeguards
• make different decisions
• take aligned action
• or prevent the thing altogether

💡 Worry doesn’t protect you.
It paralyzes you.

⚡ EMPOWERED EXPECTATIONS ⚡
This is where the shift happens.

We have to get to the place where we hold only empowered expectations —
not rooted in fear, but in clarity and self-trust.

Replace:
😰 Anxious apprehension of what you don’t want

With:
😄 Joyful anticipation of what you do want 🎯✨

Because worrying is just wasted energy ⚡🛑
Energy you could be using to create the outcome you actually desire.

Calm creates clarity.
Clarity creates power.
Power creates better outcomes.

So the next time your mind jumps ahead and asks,
“But what if it all goes wrong?”

Pause.
Come back to now.
And ask a better question:

👉 “What can I do today that actually moves me forward?”

That’s where peace lives.
That’s where momentum begins. ✨

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve found myself quietly pondering the miracle of the birth of Jesus Christ.

How one life—His life—has transformed my own.
How His ministry, His presence, His obedience, has changed the world forever.

And as I’ve been sitting in stillness, in my quiet time, reflecting on this extraordinary gift—the Son of God—I noticed my thoughts begin to wander.

I started to place myself in the shoes of His mother, Mary.
I began to wonder…
At that moment when her first child was born.
When she held her precious baby in her arms for the very first time.

When she looked into His tiny face, His tiny hands, His tiny fingers…
Did she truly know the greatness she was holding?

I know the angel visited her.
I know she received a divine revelation before she conceived.
I know she understood this child was from God.

But still…
As a mother, holding your newborn for the first time—did she really grasp the magnitude of what was in her hands?
Or did it just feel like a baby?
Fragile. Small. Dependent.

And as I sat with that question, my mind gently turned to business.

To your business.

Because the truth is—many of you are holding something right now that feels like a baby.
An idea.
A calling.
An entrepreneurial dream that’s still in its infancy.
And I wonder…
Do you truly know the greatness you’re holding in your hands?

Because if you did, you would show up differently.
You would speak to yourself differently.
You would stop minimizing your vision.
You would stop talking down your potential.
You would stop treating your dream like it’s “small” or “not enough yet.”

Greatness doesn’t always arrive fully formed.
Sometimes, it arrives quietly.
Wrapped in vulnerability.
Needing belief, protection, and faith before it ever reveals its power.
Don’t mistake “new” for “insignificant.”
Don’t confuse “early” with “unimportant.”
What you’re holding may feel like a baby now—but there is greatness waiting ahead.
Handle it with reverence.
Speak to it with faith.
And show up as if you know what it’s capable of becoming.
