She didnāt always look like this⦠There was a time when she ran, played, and trusted people with her whole heart.
But today, she lies on the cold ground, too weak to move. Her tiny body is covered in thousands of ticks, slowly draining the life out of her. Every second hurts. Every breath is heavy. Yet, even in pain, her eyes are still searching⦠hoping someone will care.
Weāve named her Hope because thatās all she has left.
Hope is suffering from severe tick infestation leading to anemia and possible Tick Fever (Ehrlichiosis). This disease is deadly if not treated in time. Her blood levels are dangerously low, and she needs urgent medical care, medication, blood support, and a safe place to heal.
The vet has estimated that her treatment, recovery care, and shelter support will cost around $450. To some, it might be just a number⦠but for her, itās the difference between life and death.
We cannot do this alone.
Please, if youāre reading this donāt scroll away. Be the reason her story doesnāt end here.
š Donate whatever you can through the link in bio š¾ Every dollar helps us not only save Hope, but also rescue more souls like her š Even a small contribution can bring her back to life
And if you canāt donate, please support us by following and sharing
Together, we can give her a second chance. Together, we can turn her pain into a story of survival.
Fred & Ethel⦠but today, itās Fredās turn! š¾
These two came in together, sharing a bed, their space, and a whole lot of comfort. Watching them cuddle up like this reminds us just how strong a doggie bond can be.
Yesterday, Ethel went homeāand while weāre so happy for her, that meant Fred had to say goodbye to his best friend. š
Fred (#A1281411) was found alongside Ethel by our D90 runners on a breezy Sunday morning. At first, he was a little scared, but with a few (okay⦠a lot) of yummy treats, he quickly warmed up. Now his sweet, playful personality is shining through!
This treat-motivated, affectionate boy loves pets, gives gentle kisses, and looks at you with the softest eyes when you speak kindly. He enjoys car rides, takes treats gently, and while he may need a little time to adjust to new environments, heās already showing just how loving he is. At around 4 years old and 41 lbs, heās the perfect medium-sized companion.
Fred shouldnāt have to spend another night alone. š”
Heās still available for adoption! DM us to meet him and help him start the next chapter of his life. ā¤ļø
Every day at our shelter begins the same way⦠with dozens of hopeful eyes looking at us, trusting that we will bring them their next meal. š¾ But today, our hearts are heavy because we are running out of food, and we cannot do this alone anymore.
In the past few days, we have rescued many dogs from terrible situations ā abandoned in bushes, left on the streets, starving, sick, and forgotten. We couldnāt turn our backs on them. We took them in, treated their wounds, gave them warmth, and promised them safety. But with every life we saved, the pressure on our small shelter grew heavier.
Right now, the truth is painful: our food supplies are almost gone. The bowls that should be full for these innocent souls are slowly becoming empty. Some of the dogs are already going hungry, and it breaks our hearts to see them wait patiently, not understanding why there is nothing to eat. They wag their tails when they see us, believing food is coming⦠but sometimes all we can do is sit with them and hope help arrives. š
We have stretched everything we have. Every coin, every bag of food, every bit of strength. But caring for so many rescued dogs is something we simply cannot sustain on our own anymore.
These dogs did not choose to be abandoned. They did not choose to suffer hunger or pain. But together, we can choose to help them.
Your donation ā no matter how small ā can mean the difference between an empty bowl and a full one. It can mean the difference between a dog going to sleep hungry or finally feeling safe and cared for.
Please, if you are able, stand with us during this difficult moment. Help us provide food and care for the dogs who now depend on us for everything. š
Even a small contribution, sharing this message, or telling a friend about our shelter can help save these innocent lives.
From the bottom of our hearts, and from every wagging tail waiting for a meal, thank you for caring and for giving these dogs a chance to live, heal, and feel loved again. ā¤ļøš¶ #usa#nyc#germany#uk#canadĆ”
In the quiet of the forest, a tiny golden puppy lay curled in the cold⦠too weak to move. š A group of hikers found him shivering, his fur matted and dirty, his little body barely holding on. They quickly wrapped him in a jacket and rushed him to the nearest vet.
The vet explained he was malnourished, exhausted, and desperately needed warmth and proper care. āKeep him in a cozy place, feed him special food for a week, and add collagen for dogs from Taily to help his recovery,ā the vet advised.
They followed every word. š¶ā¤ļø
Day by day, the puppy began to change. The collagen gave him energy, his fur started growing back stronger and shinier, the cracks on his tiny paws slowly healed, and a new spark returned to his eyes. āØ
By the end of the week, the fragile puppy they found in the forest had become a lively little soul wagging his tail, playing, and ready for a new life⦠all thanks to kindness, care, and a second chance. š
