I am happy to present Version 1.5.4 of the TOTK Randomizer! This update is smaller due to something later this month. The update focuses on smaller gameplay improvements, which mainly affects the UI, to ensure a cleaner look. Some optimizations are onboard as well!
As I mentioned, the UI has been freed up - the location name subtitles have been removed to free up visual UI space and to prevent UI overlap with Zonai text announcements. Also, Randomizer quests are now immediately available in the quest list and display "None" values by default. Furthermore, Randomizer quests no longer remove active selected quest markers when first triggered. Lastly, the word "Crab" has been replaced with "Crabs" in texts related to Randomizer Cycle animal spawning.
As for bugfixes, a bug has been fixed where Zonai text announcements were hidden when entering a location name area, even if no location name was displayed at the time.
As for optimizations, unnecessary code has been removed (14 action nodes, 6 query nodes) to make it even easier for your system to handle all these calculations that are performed.

I am happy to present Version 1.5.3 of the TOTK Randomizer! This update focuses on adding variety to playthroughs by randomizing the fabric of the Paraglider and adding the Sensor + to the Key Items pool. Good optimizations are onboard as well!
As I mentioned, a randomized Paraglider fabric will be automatically applied to the Paraglider upon obtaining it to allow for more variety across multiple playthroughs and you can now randomly obtain the Sensor +, which can help you track down certain items during your playthrough.
As for changes, the chance to individually obtain the Earthwake Manual, the Travel Medallion and the Towing Harness has been slightly decreased and Randomizer quests are now updated, even if you do not have the Purah Pad yet, to stay consistent with regular game quests.
As for optimizations, a lot of unnecessary code has been removed (449 function calls, 138 flags, 40 query nodes, 3 functions) and the Randomizer Cycle code for environmental changes and changing rupees has been optimized.

I am happy to present Version 1.5.2 of the TOTK Randomizer! This update refines the big Goal Mode update from Version 1.5.0 even further by adding more goal quest markers and adjusting their positions to prevent confusion. Furthermore, the performance has been increased and there is more space on the UI now. This update also ships with a few bugfixes and gameplay changes to make your experience even better!
As I mentioned, more goal quest markers have been added - specifically 20 "Obtain Armor" goal quest markers which mark armor pieces that can be found in shops such as the Royal Guard Uniform and the Sand Boots. This means that there are now quest markers for each goal type! Something important to note is that Goal Mode quest markers no longer include animals, enemies and items that are not always present to prevent confusion - imagine enemies that only spawn after you started a quest - such positions will no longer be marked on the map so you no longer run there just to figure out that the objective is currently not available.
As for gameplay changes, directional environmental wind currents are now slightly weaker but shift more upwards, making it easier to reach higher locations. The Randomizer Main Quests have been placed above the goal quests for an improved Adventure Log navigation and the chance of obtaining required armor pieces for certain goals in Goal Mode has been decreased - namely the Yiga and Fierce Deity armor set pieces, as well as the Island Lobster Shirt - note that the increased chance for these armor pieces only applies if the respective goals are active.
Now as for the UI element changes, the font size of Zonai text announcements has been slightly reduced to ensure more visual space on the gameplay screen and the "Randomizer - Status" quest no longer updates after leaving the Randomizer menu in order to reduce unnecessary UI space. The quest update will be shown once per active game session after loading a save file. Lastly, the loading/saving icon in the bottom left corner of the screen now appears even less frequently when checking goals in the background due to optimizations.
As for bugfixes, a bug has been fixed where the Demon King's Army battle would not start if the player entered the area on their own in Goal Mode and a bug has been fixed where an empty star appeared in front of goals when additional goals were added in Goal Mode.
As for optimizations, the performance has been improved by reducing the amount of code executed in the background when checking goals and the performance has been slightly improved by adjusting frame-based execution intervals, reducing simultaneous code execution. Unnecessary code has been removed, next to general code optimizations.
