"You're just a contrarian for engagement!"

Yeah, that's not how that works. The majority of viewers of book content really just want their feelings affirmed by someone they follow. Being critical of a very highly rated book is a great way to piss a lot of people off.

But I do it anyway, because my whole account is based on giving my honest opinion on what I read, which is exactly why I don't do paid book reviews, which would generate thousands of dollars a month.
