After weeks of work, this beautiful table (and my first piece of furniture ever!!!) is finally finished. Made of Oak, with Ebony inlay and drawer handle, and a burr brown Oak top. I was inspired to make this after seeing the design on @MattEstlea and @FreeOnlineWoodworkingSchool. Also, thank you so much @MattEstlea and @RobHarveyMusic for the brass coin; it looks so good! I'm very pleased. (If you make things I would highly recommend getting some of these laser etched coins from Matt to put into your products. They add a really nice, professional looking, finishing touch).
Overall I am very happy with how this has gone, and hopefully will be followed by many more pieces of furniture! If I was to do it again, I might do the inlay in Brass instead of Ebony. I think that would look really cool. Let me know what you think! (:

This has been a super fun project over the last few days. Many thanks to @AlecSteele and @veritasium for the inspiration to make a QR code.
This is made from 625 Ebony and Maple, hand-cut, cm x cm squares. Its a little wonky, but its still perfectly functional; give it a scan! It still needs sanding and finishing (with a matt finish, for obvious reasons), and the frame needs completing. Should be finished very soon though, and I'm very pleased with it (: Let me know what you think!
