With as well as the #HONDA#J35 crankshaft recall videos are doing, I thought I would make a post highlighting what seems to be a slide in HMC stock. Earnings took big hit in Q3. I can’t say for sure whether the decline is due to the heavy cost of the recall itself, however looking at the charts, the decline seems to be in line with when then recall was officially issued. If this is the case, then keep in mind that this only reflects the ACURA portion of engines. The HONDA recall which affects 1.4 million vehicles could cause the stock to decline further once released. It might be a good time to open short positions on HMC. Alternatively, from an investment standpoint, one could continue to watch the stock price and open a position at a historically low price. There is a lot of negative sentiment towards Honda in the comments sections of all videos. Interested to see how this all plays out. What do you all think?
