Holy moly the last 5 days have been nothing short of incredible. We were invited super last minute down to Moab, UT by ‪@Moabadventurecenter‬ for a 5 day overnight float down Desolation Canyon on the Green River.

When I say last minute, I mean we had 4 days to get our stuff together, find someone to watch Waldo and make the 8 hour drive to Moab in time for this trip. In all honesty we almost didn’t go and I’m so glad we accepted the invite for this adventure of a lifetime!

This kind of adventure is SO FAR outside of our typical comfort zone. Whitney and I have rafted only a few times ever and never overnight. Cashy has never been on a real river float so this was new for our whole family.

The second we arrived in Moab this adventure took off. They got us into an original Hummer for an off road sunset adventure climbing up rocks and into zones we didn’t think were possible.

The next day we were met at 6am in the hotel lobby to catch a flight with ‪@redtailair‬ from Moab to Sandwash Plateau. I love flying and have been on some wild flights but this dirt road runway was one of the most unique experiences we’ve ever had in a plane. That was just the start.

From there we met up with our guides from ‪@Westernriver‬ and began our 5 day journey down the Green River.

The photos above are only snippets from this experience and we will have videos to follow of some of the epic moments and core memories created.

We literally just got off the river 3 hours ago and we’re driving home now. Can’t wait to share more!
