❄️🩷All I want for Christmas is for bullying to end. Bullies were bullied as children or are still being bullied. It's a learned behaviour, and that's so sad. We learn from our parents, our family. Hurtful jokes, not being inclusive, teasing, violence. All NOT OK.
We're all just trying to find peace in a sometimes cruel world, can't we work together? If bullying is taught by example, I believe empathy can be taught. 🌷Three great rules: 1. Treat others as you would like to be treated. 2. Help in whatever capacity is possible when asked. 3. Positive statements only (I'm in menopause so I'm working on this one. *as I grumble a little*)
💪My pink polka dot robe became a symbol of resilience🩷 when I was bullied on more than one occasion by someone at no invitation, someone I did not know previously, someone who had absolutely no right to be in my face nor in my space. RC Ron to the rescue!💕
Why was I bullied? IT DOESN'T MATTER. IT'S NOT OKAY.
As humans we need to learn to communicate, to self-govern, to respect and empathize with others' values and challenges, to get along. Let's be kinder starting now.
