At least MY Divine Symmetry includes Rupert The Riley. 😏

So according to the generated copyright information on this video https://youtu.be/eFIq3WUAQFk the 1971 recording of Shadow Man will be on an album also titled "Shadow Man". Maybe the name of a set containing 1971 material (in the same vein as 2019's Conversation Piece and 2020s Width of a Circle).
It's also possible that the 2000 version of Shadow Man, notably missing from the main tracklisting of the upcoming Toy album, will be released as a non-album single with the 1971 recording on the b-side. This would explain why "(Early Version)" appears in the title here.

Hopefully Divine Symmetry will make its return tomorrow, though unfortunately Shadow Man will have to be chopped out. This is the second time I had to edit the mix to make it YouTube acceptable. Maybe at some point I'll work out a way to host the full unedited version elsewhere.

Divine Symmetry has received a copyright strike and is currently blocked. I will fix this in the next few days when I find the time. Interestingly the culprit appears to be the song Shadow Man, claimed by WMG. This suggests to me that Parlophone are planning to release the recording in the very near future, presumably as part of a set to mark the 50th anniversary of Hunky Dory.

Those familiar with Shadow Man are also likely familiar with the 2000 rerecording produced for the unreleased album "Toy". It is essentially verified that the album will finally be released before the year's out. If no Hunky Dory 50th perhaps we'll be seeing a "Toy Originals" bonus disk.
