Sullivan's Goose

Viral update for media inquiries : sullivansgoose at gmail dot com

I began filming short videos of my trips to Sullivan's Pond to visit the geese, after a gosling was born for the first time in several years. I have been going for 2 seasons regularly, and have gotten to know the geese quite well, I can tell all of them apart and they all have names.

The gosling is particularly attached to me as it bonded to me very early on, and now often runs towards me excitedly when it sees me, in fact it has not only done something I've not seen before, which is flapping its wings to increase its run speed, but it has also taught it to the other geese.

Margaret is alive and well as it turns out there was a mix-up at the wildlife refuge where they spend the coldest winter months which they just came back from. Thing is , even though she is one of the 2 geese that interact with me most at the pond, she may be better off at the refuge where her former mate resides full time, he had to be removed as he was attacking people at random. (they are geese after all) Only thing is, he has since found a new mate.. and he and Margaret have not seen each other in well over a year now.. so that will be awkward at best. I will keep you posted on how that all works out.
