BECOMING
Thereâs a story in the Bible about David that resonates deeply with this word. Before he was a king, he was a shepherd. Before he led armies, he tended sheep. Before people saw him as mighty, he was overlookedâeven by his own family. Yet, every season of his life was shaping him for the throne, even when it didnât look like it.
Life is often about becoming rather than simply arriving. The tension you feel - the weight of demands, the sense of being stuck - could very well be the forging process. Just as a seed doesnât look like a tree, but carries everything within it to become one, you are in motion, even when it feels like you arenât.
The world rushes us to âarrive,â but God is invested in our becoming. The shepherd boy holding a slingshot didnât yet look like a king, but he was one in the making. So are you.
Take heart. You are not nowhere. You are in the process of becoming.

Donât let other peopleâs limitations become the ceiling for your faith, ideas or ambition. Sometimes, you donât need permission to believe. You just need the courage to begin.

BUILD IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN.
There are dreams that belong to a particular season of your life. Not because the dream will expire, but because you will not always have the same energy, courage, resources, hunger, time or capacity that you have today.
We keep telling ourselves:
âWhen I have more money.â âWhen life becomes quieter.â
âWhen the children are older.â âWhen the economy improves.â âWhen everything finally makes sense.â
But sometimes, waiting for the perfect conditions is how a great idea quietly dies. If God has placed something in your heart, donât just admire the vision. Give it movement.
Start imperfectly. Build with what you have. Learn as you go. Adjust when necessary. Keep moving. Because one of lifeâs greatest regrets is reaching a season where you finally have the wisdom and resources to build what you once dreamed about - but no longer have the strength or time to build it.
Your assignment is bigger than your comfort. Donât carry your greatest work to the grave as an idea. Build it while you still can. Because your purpose is not accidental. It is part of Godâs agenda for your life and your generation. Start Now.

Your assignment is too important to be distracted by people who were never assigned to it.
