Death is the most honest teacher life gives us.
It reminds us that we are all standing in a line we cannot escape, a line whose end we cannot see. And yet most people live as though time is unlimited.
But the line is moving. Quietly. Patiently. Relentlessly.
Every day, someone leaves this world. Not only the old. Not only the sick. Not only the weak.
Someone. Somewhere.
And perhaps that is why wisdom matters.
Because when you truly understand the fragility of life, you stop wasting it on pride, hatred, bitterness, ego, and meaningless battles.
You forgive faster. You love deeper. You become kinder.
You become present. Death humbles every title, every possession, every illusion of control.
In the end, people may not remember what you owned, but they will remember how you made them feel.
Whether you healed or harmed.
Whether you brought peace or pain.
Whether your existence made the world gentler.
Life is short. Time is borrowed.

As a business executive and your mentor from afar, I have come to a realization that material things show how much you’ve spent, not how much you have.
In entrepreneurship, that mindset can drown you. While you’re trying to look successful, someone else is stacking cash, acquiring assets, hiring talent, and building systems that actually make them successful.The game isn’t about proving you’ve made it. It’s about building enough leverage to stay in it long term.
Every cedi/dollar you waste on image is a cedi/dollar you could have used to extend your runway, survive a slow month, or seize an opportunity others can’t afford.
Entrepreneurs who last understand this:
Wealth is not what you show. It’s the safety, power, and freedom you build behind the scenes. The more you invest in that, the less you need to prove anything.
