Growing up as Filipino American, seeing a movie like this as an adult is so special to me! When I was a kid movies like this didn’t exist or Filipino representation wasn’t as common. I’m so happy to see this movie, growing up my mother has always taught my brother and I to be proud of our culture and heritage, and as an adult I’ve taken stronger interests into it. Learning Tagalog, my great grandfather Andy, he only taught my mom and her siblings curse words lol, but I want to learn our language as a whole because it feels good to have something that connects me to my roots. Being part Filipino having cousins who are Blasian, and cousins who are Filipino/Chinese, having Japanese family and even just living in Seattle where the Asian population was vast, we have our own Chinatown, and just being raised to not only take pride and respect for my culture but other Asian cultures too. I’m so excited that a film like this is coming, I do believe this movie will do for Filipinos what KPop Demon Hunters has done for Koreans and Korean Americans which is a film that showcases their culture, and provides them with representation through characters, settings, storytelling, etc that allows them to be seen, heard and understood. I don’t know much about Filipino mythology or folklore, but I’m so excited to learn and see what this movie has in store. I’ve always been proud to be Filipino and this movie makes it even more so. The cast is Blasian, Wasian, Filipino, Filipino American and I’m all here for it!

Mostly my Instagram and TikTok) I’ve honestly thought about creating a new channel on YouTube that strictly focuses on my voiceover work, and I’m not really going by Skylark for that. My name is Savvy Marie, and if I ever make it as a voice actress one day, I’d like this to be my stage name. It’s a play on of my actual name Savana Marie. One of my many nicknames growing up was Savvy ( my uncle gave me that nickname before I was born ) and I thought it had a nice ring to it 😁

I’m not gonna lie… today is going to be a hard one for me. Today marks 3 years since my grandmother passed, and it’s so crazy to me how it’s been that long. It doesn’t even feel that way, it feels fresh in my mind and on days like today it’s even more so. I miss her so much, what I wouldn’t give to just talk to her again, to hear her voice one more time, she was always someone I could vent to, she’d listen without judgement, without condescending my feelings, and when I was done talking she’d give me the best advice. I don’t know how she did it, but she always knew the right thing to say, I miss that the most. I miss getting in the car and we’d go grab a coffee together, I wish I could tell her so much. I’ll deal with today the best I can, and I hope my family does too. I know it’ll be hard on them too. I might make an edit to help with the emotional parts of the day, that always helps. I love you my Alphas, I hope you have a great day, just know it’s okay to have days like this, it’s good to express all of our feelings, the sad ones are just as important as the happy ones. Keep those heads up, and do the best you can 💕⭐️

‪@HP_Remus_Lupin_Star-Orginal‬ my oh my, how many times much we do this same song and dance? I mean honestly it’s getting so annoying at this point, I ask why do this to yourself? What good does it do for you to steal others edits and claim them as your own? Do you not feel even the slightest bit of guilt for taking someone else’s hard work and tainting it by stealing it? It’s such a weird thing to do when 9 times out of 10 you will be caught and you will be held accountable for your actions. Do you have any shame in what you do? Because I’m having a hard time giving people like you the benefit of the doubt, it’s bad enough you stole someone’s content the first time but to keep doing it over and over again. You know good and well what you are doing and there’s no sugarcoating it, you are a video thief and this video and others sharing said video are proof enough. You can either delete what you stole or maybe find a different hobby to do. What good is editing if you’re not going to at least try it on your own, why go through the hassle of stealing videos when you know deep down this kind of thing never goes well. I am officially blocking you off my channel because my community doesn’t need thieves to be among them. You set a poor example of what a good YouTube is, by doing these foolish stunts. You should be better and do better, and most importantly you should know better. I and others shouldn’t have to make videos about your video thefts, and telling you what you should already know. The fact that it has to get to this point is just sad, I hope you sit, think long and hard about how your actions affect other people, and I hope for the sake of your character, you choose to do the right thing. This will be my say in the matter, I hope people learn from this, you included.
