Thank you so much for the patience folks, It has been very hard and slow for us lately with our songs. I have not met my bandmates for 2 years now because of some VISA bullshit that has kept me stuck back here in India. The distance, time apart, plus personal problems on my part has occupied most of my year but we sure hope to be more active now as I find myself slowly crawling out of the shit. As some of you know, I am from the state of manipur from the North East of India where right now a huge communal fight has broken out between the Meitei people and the Kuki tribals of Manipur. This is an image of a Kuki household right behind my home in Imphal being put to the torch. I hope for a swift de escalation of the violence because if it keeps going on like this I fear for my own safety and that of my family and the other tribals living in the Imphal area and beyond. There have already been casualties on both sides and they keep mounting as the army is called in now to restore law and order as well as a "shoot on sight" order has been issued for anyone causing trouble during the curfew. The state has also disabled internet services from cellular networks in an attempt to curb the further spread of hateful information which has been going around a lot further antagonising the masses. I fear that this situation will keep deteriorating and might lead to an armed conflict. I pray for a peaceful resolution to be reached as soon as possible and for life to return to normal once again in Manipur. Pray for us and spread the word.
