Just a quick note: I won't be releasing a song today. Life has been hectic, and I just didn't have time to get the video done.

For those who don't know, I'm in the middle of a job transition... So I've been busy applying, following up, and interviewing at multiple places. That's a big part of why there's not song out today.

EDIT: Power's back! Of course, this happens less than 30 minutes after I post this. 😆

Tonight's stream might be canceled!

Got home from visiting family to find our power is out. Looks like it is our whole neighborhood and the power company is hoping to have it back up in roughly 6 hours.

If it comes back on before I have to sleep, I will try to hop on, but this might just mean that I will do a stream later this week instead.

A quick announcement.

Life has gotten hectic recently. First our kids got sick, then my wife, then me. Then once I started feeling better, things at work got really crazy.

So, for the next little while, I'm going to slow down a little here. I'm still going to try and get at least one song out each week. I'm just trying to maintain that whole work/life balance thing.

I have no plans to stop and still have quite a few songs that I've got in the works that I definitely want to get out there, but all these things take time and I find that I just never have enough to stay on top of it all. I also have a huge backlog of songs that are available here on YouTube that I haven't been able to get onto Spotify and others streaming platforms. Once those are caught up, I'm hoping that I can get back to my regular schedule here.

The gaming streams will keep happening on Sunday evenings. I've found them super relaxing and a great way to recharge before starting my work week.

I really appreciate all the support I've had from all of you and I am working on Friday's video as I'm writing this.

Just a quick note!

No new song today, everyone. It has been a crazy couple of weeks and right now my kids and wife are all sick. And last night when I sat down to work on the video, I just didn't have the energy (pretty sure I'm getting sick too).

So, I decided to take it easy and just play Hades II for a bit instead. It was the recharge I think I needed.

Don't worry, songs are still coming! I just needed a calm evening without any pressure. I'll be back at it next week!

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to wish all of you a great holiday season. Whatever you celebrate, or don't, I hope this year has been great for you and that the next one will be even better!

I don't have a song releasing tomorrow. I chose to relax today and just enjoy Christmas with my family rather than worrying about rushing a song for tomorrow's release.

I'm curious. I've been really enjoying playing Silksong and still want to keep going with the Steel Soul challenge, but I've also got an itch for a few other games that I've been meaning to play.

Anyone interested in watching me try any of these out? (The only one I don't currently own on this list is Dredge, but I could snag it if there's enough interest.)

Just so you know, the only one I've played at all is that I played roughly an hour of Hades II when it was in pre-release but shelved and decided I wanted to wait for the full game.

The rest, I know basically nothing about.

Let me know what you want to see me play and if you have suggestions for other games, I'd love to hear those too!

Today, one year ago, I accidentally set "Bladder of Steel" as public. I wasn't planning on releasing any songs until I had at least 30 or so ready to go. But when I finally noticed, that one had a few random views from other people.

I figured, well there's no going back now. I had 9 other songs ready so I just switched them all to public.

And now here we are 1 year later with nearly 1200 subscribers and over 100 songs!

I just wanted to take a quick moment and thank you all for being here with me and helping me to get to this point. There are many, many people that have helped me do this and I couldn't have gotten to this point without them.

Thanks so much for being here. I'm excited to see where we are next year!
