Dear AXC subscribers! Perhaps, I don't have to inspire you, but I am trying to get 1000 viewers to watch 6 videos in August which should get me monetized. Thanks for your support and spread the word!

Is your theater company interested in staging a 3 Act, single-set, 5-person play that pits some of the greatest architects of the 20th century, Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, in a room to talk about architecture while sitting in chairs of their design? Talk to me. Fans of ACX know that while architecture is my primary vocation - my artistic expression and source of income - I am not hesitant to try other media. And while I may not have achieved financial success, I have achieved some critical note with books and videos and painting watercolors. So, challenged by my sister, the author, and based on a AXC #73 comment I made, I wrote this play, and I am looking for a theater company willing to take it on.

ACX fans: We just released a new video, #101, on Helmut Jahn's skyscraper 50 West in NYC. Clever fans will note that we skipped video #100. We expected to have a special video for #100, and that is still in the works, but it has been delayed. Rather than slow the return to a schedule of a video every two weeks, we decided to skip it, and will come back when it is ready. Meanwhile, enjoy another NYC skyscraper video!

It's here! The first book based on my YouTube Channel. It's a coffee table book - sort of - and it doesn't even have to be a very strong coffee table. The book is a selection of the website's videos in written form. It's chance to hold and hug Architecture Codex which is otherwise a virtual experience. But you can also gaze for a long time (not necessarily longingly) at the drawings from my sketchbook, my codex. (They tend to flash on the screen during the videos.) The book is available through Amazon! Just QR the image on the screen or follow the link in the comments. (Perhaps soon the book will be the ND Hammes Bookstore... maybe even in time for my book signing on Friday September 27 from 1:30 to 3:00. But you can buy it on Amazon now and bring that and any book to the book signing!)

Dear Architecture Codex Fans... it's been almost two weeks since the last new video, so you might be expecting another one soon. But it might be a bit of a wait. Just letting you know that I am taking a bit of a respite from new videos. First, I have been hitting the goal of a new video every two weeks for over a year, so while I have plenty of ideas, I deserve a bit of rest. Second, I am working on another secret project which you might like. Third, I am updating some videos for my CUA class ARCHITECTURE AND WESTERN CULTURE (also available on Patreon), so that takes time. And finally, I am hoping to do a special video for Architecture Codex #100, and I must wait for a couple of things to happen first. Therefore, now is a good time to enjoy some of the videos you have not seen. I really appreciate your comments and so far, I can respond to each one. Peace to all!

Still working on architecture and a graphic novel, so @Architecture Codex is still on hiatus. But ideas are already perking for new videos later this year. They include: LA's Getty Musuem, Notre Dame du Ronchamps, NYS's newest skyscraper The Spiral by BIG architects; Taliesin West, and more! And with the kids out of college (1 more year) and a stable economy (please), I can travel to buildings on my bucket list and expand the breadth of the channel. Or should I just do videos on the Star Trek franchise and artificially bump up my views and subscribers? Let me know. (YouTube won't let me post the humorous image I had to accompany this text.. maybe this is a doomed platform...)
