🔸#Hydrocele is a fluid filled sac in the Scrotum, causing swelling around the testicle.
🔸It's usually a painless condition.

▪️Chronic Constipation which may further lead to pressure locally.
▪️Certain external injuries to the testicles ▪️If the testicle is pressed with great force that can also further lead to hydrocele ▪️Regular consumption of spicy food, fried food items and fatty food.
▪️Consumption of Pulses on a regular basis, like chole, rajma, toor dal, vatana, matki, Chavali, Chana dal etc.
▪️Extreme Travel on a daily basis.

🔸Hydrocele generally does not affect the sperm count as fluid accumulation usually occurs outside the testicles and it does not interfere with sperm production.
🔸however long standing Hydrocele may increase the scrotal temperature or pressure which may reduce #Sperm #Count and affect #fertility as well.

🔸#Ayurveda recommends various #Panchkarmas like #Basti, #Virechan #Nasyam, locally lepam application and oil application.
🔸apart from that certain Scrotal supporters can be advised with severe symptoms and chronicity.

This is a wonderful correction seen in the Follicular Monitoring done in various Fertility treatments.

In this case, it shows MSF that's Multiple small follicles in both the ovaries, along with less Endometrial Thickness.

if the follicular size does not grow satisfactorily, the rupture will not happen and the egg will not be released. Hence leading to failed conception
This is termed as Anovulatory Cycle.

With the Ayurvedic treatment and Panchkarma like Basti and Nasyam, helps with satisfactory Ovulation.

In few cases, we can see a Follicular Cyst formation during Ovulation.
Let's understand what it means.

#How is a #cyst #formed #during #Ovulation❓

The follicle contains fluid which helps to protect the egg as it grows in size. Free pelvic fluid is seen when the follicle bursts or is ruptured and the egg is released.
But in some cases, the follicle does not release the egg or the fluid discharge does not happen.
Hence the follicle shrinks after the egg release.
Later the follicle swells and gets converted into a cyst.
In most of the cases, you may come across #FOLLICLE #COLLAPSE.
In this situation, the follicle collapses after the egg is released and may transform into corpus luteum.

Let's understand.

Last month had 4 cases of Infertility with different imbalances, causative factors.

🔸Recurrent #Miscarriages 🔸
First case had no issue with conception but had a miscarriage post few weeks of conception.
This happened for 5 times until now. Underwent with failed 3 IUIs later.

🔸 #Unexplained Infertility🔸
Second case with unexplained infertility. All the investigations in both the partners is absolutely within normal range. Underwent failed 2 IVF cycles and 1 IUI cycle.

🔸#Anovulatory Cycles🔸
Third case had unsatisfactory Ovulation/Follicular study. Had delayed follicular rupture with unsatisfactory Endometrial thickness. Had 1 failed IUI and 1 IVF.

🔸#PCOD with Irregular periods & Obesity🔸

🔸#Semen Defects🔸
Fourth case had PCOD, irregular menstrual cycles with Obesity. Have been trying since 7 years. Underwent 1 failed IVF.
Husband has a defect in Sperm morphology as well.

In all of the above cases, patients are undergoing with multiple treatments for conception, since many years. They are drained mentally and financially and lost all their hopes.

So when it comes to Natural conception, there are few basics that need to be taken care of like below..

1. There Is No #Shortcut
Most of the people have tried almost everything and now again starting from scratch is definitely not easy. And to loose more time is hard to accept.
So always understand there is no shortcut when it comes to Ayurvedic way of management.
Every bodily organ, doshas and the dhatus are connected to each other. Hence working not only at the uterine level, but the whole body and the brain is mandatory.
Hence it takes time and you need to patiently go ahead with the step by step treatments and Panchkarmas.

2. Can We Only Do #Uttar #Basti?

Most of the women ask only for uttar basti (medicated ghee/oils/decoctions are instilled in the Uterine cavity).
Working at the Utrine level is definitely important but as mentioned before we need to work at the dosha and dhatu level for overall bodily corrections initially, which eventually helps enhance the chances of natural conception.

3. Can We Skip The #Weight Loss Process In Obese Patients?

It's a clear NO!!.
Understanding and planning every phase of pregnancy is very important.
It's not only about conception, but also about the whole 9 months of the pregnancy phase.
It's not that obese females don't conceive. But post conception there are chances of certain complications associated with obesity like PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension), Gestational Diabetes, Pre term labour etc.,which may lead to severe consequences or may turn fatal.
Hence it's always better to take some extra efforts before conception so the pregnancy phase can be hassle free.

4. What Is Done In Case Of Multiple #Miscarriages?

Miscarriages may happen due to various factors. In males it may happen due to defects in Sperm morphology or due to the Genetic Chromosomal defects. Also the endometrial thickness is not satisfactory. The Stree beeja and Purush beeja needs to be in the purest state devoid of any abnormalities. Hence Beej shuddhi with the help of panchkarmas in both the partners has to be done mandatorily.
Post conception also, to avoid miscarriage, basti panchkarma along with internal Aayurvedic formulations is advised for a full term pregnancy.

5. #AnOvulatory Cycles.
In case of AnOvulatory cycles, we need to track the ovulation along with regulating the cycles.
Basti panchkarma, uttar basti, Nasyam, Shirodhara works well with correcting the Ovulation, thus enhancing the Fertility treatment.

6. Is #IVF The Last Option?

Definitely not. Post IVF failure, you can definitely conceive naturally.
Most of the times people come to Ayurveda as a supportive treatment along with IVF.
IVF is definitely not the last ray of hope.
If there are certain imbalances in either partner, any treatment may fail if the corrections are not done firstly.

7. What if there is an already existing #Fibroid or a #Cyst?

Depends on the size and the position of the fibroid. If the size of the fibroid or cyst is huge or the position is such that it may lead to a barrier towards the foetal growth in future, surgical removal ( Myomectomy ) is advisable.
Similarly if there is an Oviarian or an Endometriotic cyst, that may also act as a barrier towards conception and further foetal development post conception.
So get it treated beforehand or get consulted from your physicians.

#Panchkarma, Uttar basti helps with the bodily corrections and also corrections at the hormonal level.

A 26 years old from Andhra Pradesh had PCOD. She was administered O.C pills and Injection Lupride Acetate which led to sudden heavy Menstrual flow and further triggered the hormonal imbalance leading to #increased #ENDOMETRIAL #THICKNESS to 36.9mm.
This lead to continuous heavy Menstrual flow. Which only ceased with hormonal pills and later that also stopped working.

This is a very common scenario in most of the Infertility cases.
Most of the times after trying for conception for months to years, we tend to give up and just want a quick fix for conception.

Getting treated for Infertility is a tidious process. Drains one Mentally, physically, financially!!

Which is true. Although taking it slow, one step at a time is all that we need.

As per Ayurveda, the bodily sapt dhatus like Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi, Majja and Shukra are all interlinked and the later ones are affected if the previous dhatus are not well nourished or are imbalanced.

Say for e.g. the Meda dhatu is Apachit, ie. If a person is overweight, the Meda dhatu formed is not well nourished, leading to interference in the further dhatu nourishment.
Means Shukra dhatu which resembles the reproductive system in men and women, is not nourished well leading to certain imbalances like hormonal changes, menstrual irregularities, Infertility, Sperm abnormalities, unovulatory cycles, PCOD etc.

Hence while treating the above we need to fix the previously imbalanced bodily dhatus which eventually corrects the further ones.

So the answer for all the questions is 👉
✔️take it slowly and steadily.
✔️If you are overweight, then weightloss is the first line of Treatment
✔️If the cycles are irregular, correcting the same by Panchkarmas and internal medications is a must.
✔️Weightloss leads to the hormonal balance, corrects the bodily doshas and dhatus, regulates the cycles, corrects symptoms related to PCOD and hence enhances the chances of natural conception.

✅Its not that Overweight females don't conceive. You may conceive but the pregnancy process may have certain complications like rise in the blood pressure, inflammation, gestational diabetes etc.

✅So having a trouble free pregnancy should be considered before planning for conception. Because yes it's about conceiving, but it's also about a hassle free pregnancy.
