We’ve been MIA because we’ve been so busy! We haven’t forgotten about y’all and I’ll be doing my best to get a new vlog out ASAP! Until then, HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! How’s everyone celebrating this month?!
We’re still here, friends! We’ve been incredibly busy and I’ve been sick for almost a month! I came down with ANOTHER sinus infection (not contagious) and have been trying to claw my way back to health 😔 I have hired a YT editor to assist me with videos. We are experiencing some technical difficulties (I was supposed to have a video up and going yesterday) so hang in there with us! We love y’all!

Slowly but surely I am recovering from Influenza A. We finally ventured out for the first time in almost 2 weeks! We were so excited to check out CAMP L.A.! Our little adventure is featured in our IG stories right now so go check them out! I will be working on a new vlog today and hope to be back to posting 2-3 times per week again asap!
Eli and I had a little ER visit last night. We were both VERY sick and Eli’s fever was at 104.5. The fever wouldn’t break so I took him in. We BOTH had fevers and wound up testing positive for influenza A! This started with Evan and all he had was a small cough. I assumed it was allergies because he had no other symptoms. Then a couple days later we all went down (except Ella). The flu is going around and taking families out left, right, and center! We hope everyone stays safe and healthy 😊 Eli’s fever finally broke yesterday after 2 days of being high. Mine is still lingering.
We got a little cold & I’ve been down and out! Will be uploading the vlog that was removed (it’s been edited) tomorrow! I’ll also be working on Eli’s Emergency & the Siwa’s Top Secret Project! Hang in there, friends! 3 of us are working on getting better ❤️🩹
Today I received a call from Eli’s school informing me he had had a seizure (he is at high risk for seizures but never had one) and that 911 had to be called and paramedics were already at the school. I have never moved so fast in my life. Neurologists have been very clear about Eli’s life span. I have already been warned that while there are a number of things that could take him from me in all likelihood it will be a seizure. I honestly believed he was going to die 😭 We have been in the emergency department for 5 hours now and he will likely be admitted overnight. I’m still terrified, but slowly he is starting to feel a little better.
This is the side of families like ours viewers rarely see. This is the side I hate sharing because it terrifies me. Watching my child struggle. Not knowing what’s going to happen. It’s like my heart stops and I can’t breathe. As a parent it is my job to make everything better for my kids and when I can’t it’s an incredibly difficult pill for me to swallow (so to speak). I’m so thankful for my dog walked, my sitters, and one of my besties who all dropped everything they were doing to handle everything else for me while I stay here with Eli. Please keep my baby in your thoughts and prayers 🙏🏽
