Hey, folks, Daniel here on the Community Tab (I refuse to call it "Posts", that has serious "renaming Twitter to X" energy to me) with an update that kinda doubles as an apology.

Obviously that apology is related to Creepytober, or the lack thereof -- I'm so sorry that I completely dropped the ball on it this year. I'd been trying to work on a new video that I'm hoping to have up sometime this week for basically the last MONTH or so, but between me feeling under the weather some days, a bunch of IRL nonsense going on, and even, more recently, my laptop (that I do basically EVERYTHING on) deciding that NOW is the time to slow to a crawl if I have certain processes running on it that were never a problem before, I'm massively delayed in getting that done. Between that and me having not really found any good in-universe Pokemon creepypasta stories to narrate (which you guys know I STRONGLY prefer over the typical "Oh no the game is haunted" fare), Creepytober just wasn't super-feasible this year. Again, though, I know many of you subscribed for Creepytober, so I wanna give you my word right now that I'll do my best to make sure there's substantial Creepytober content next year. I might honestly be a little more lenient with the kinds of stories I do, but no promises!

Speaking of the video I've been working on (which I feel bad that it's taken this long given that it's not even anything complicated, it's just the universe conspiring against me, apparently), I'm shooting to have that up by Wednesday, but I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it if it has to go up by the weekend (considering I've already long-since missed the ORIGINAL post date I wanted), so there'll at least be SOMETHING going up before October ends.

Again, terribly sorry about the lack of Creepytober, and I'm gonna try and figure out what my laptop's fucking major malfunction is so I can get back in the saddle as far as uploading videos goes, especially since we're about to enter the holiday season where ad revenue is higher, haha.

I LIVED, MOTHERFUCKERS

...So, uh, yeah, you might've noticed that the channel kinda got fucked the last couple of days, and that's because, VERY short version, cryptobros managed to hack the Google account that's connected to the channel. It temporarily got nuked (because obviously the shit they were using the channel to shill violated TOS), but luckily the appeals team were quick to look over my manual appeal and see none of this was my fault, and I got the Google account back and the channel restored! Yippiee!!!

Obviously, this whole thing has been incredibly taxing and draining, namely because I was on the verge of actually losing 10+ years of videos, connections, and memories associated with this channel, not to mention the community I'd built around it. So, I think I'm just gonna push the new video back until August, which, I know, I've already delayed it several times because of other outside shit, and it's not even that complex to warrant this much of a delay, and I'm sorry, but I don't wanna rush things, especially after such extraordinarily shitty circumstances, haha.

Hi gamers! Daniel here on the Community Tab just to let you know what's been going on in my neck of the woods lately.

Sorry for being MIA for the last little bit again -- my apartment building kept giving me the runaround over the course of the last several weeks about a leak in the building that they couldn't find the source of, and that they kept insisting originated from somewhere in the area of my kitchen sink despite my actual kitchen sink being leak-free, but they kept coming in and out of the place seemingly at random just to check things and find nothing almost every time. Eventually, a couple weeks ago, they finally found where the leak was, and it was some random pipe on the OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL behind the sink (in my living room), which means they had to cut a sizable portion of the wall out to get to the pipe and replace it, stand a fan in front of the area over that weekend to dry out the space, and then get new drywall over it and repaint it (all of which took way longer than it should've because the maintenance guy assigned to the whole thing didn't always come in when he was supposed to). And that finally got solved a week or so ago, but all of that stress and annoyance from having people constantly coming in and out and not knowing whether or not I was in the clear for several points in the midst of that whole thing just completely killed any motivation to do anything video-wise.

That being said, I did actually manage to record something a few days ago, and now I'm starting the process of getting assets together so I can start editing properly early next week, so I'm hoping maybe in the next week or two I'll have something up in June!

Anyone who's been keeping up with the channel in recent months knows that Darklords are my favorite archetype, so I really wanted to get this eventually 😁💙
