Stats. Few YouTube channels share their stats, I try to do so every now and then.  
So over the past 28 days, this channel has had over 3.3 Million views and added another 7000 subscribers, that's a 316% increase over the previous 28 days. It is possible that it is in part due to some changes I made to every video using YouTube Studio. I removed the automatic chapters from all videos and started adding my own to the new videos and some older ones. I also blocked as many words which could be deemed as derogatory, swearing, racist or spam related that I could think of from being posted by viewers, I blocked all links which people might place in their comments, I added basic comment moderation to all past and future comments from viewers. I also set the language of all videos to English for the written details and for spoken words in the videos. These are all basics that I should have done long ago, but just never bothered to do so, it took a bit of time to do this, all the while producing content for this channel and my other YouTube channel, yes I have another one, with 215 Million views, which means I have a combined total of 300 Million views.
Now you might think I probably work in social media, but I don't, never have done.
I have had British MP's and Scottish MP's sitting in my kitchen getting advice on social media strategy, I am friends with MP's from different political parties who would give me good references should I ever apply for a job in Social Media, which I don't do as ageism is a thing and most if not all companies would hire a 21 year old girl with a TikTok account and 1000 followers over me, I assure you. If this seems like a moan, it's not intended as such, I am happy, life is good, though it is not sunny here in Scotland, so I can't go out on my motorbike as I am now an old fair weather biker.  
Oh and before I forget, what's on the way you might wonder, well.. Slayer, Anthrax, Accept, Megadeath, Iggy pop, Texas, Saxon, Slipknot, Dokken, more Grant Lee Buffalo, King Diamond, Dream Theatre, Steve Vai, Bruce Dickenson and Yngwie Malmsteen I can only apologise for the Yngwie stuff 🤣

Here in Scotland, it is Friday 5th June, 17.30 and I just shared a new video which includes The Sex Pistols, Ramones, Talking Heads, Blondie and more. BUT, if you are in the USA you will not be able to watch this video unless you use a VPN. Because google has blocked this video entirely to viewers from the USA, Russia and Belarus. As far as I am aware if you download the browser called Opera, you can get a free VPN, switch it on and then look for YouTube, then this channel and let me know if it worked for you. I am posting here about this, because as far as I know subscribers in those countries do not even get notified when a new video is shared by myself or others when it is blocked to you. Today, 21st May, this channel publicly went over the 80 Million views total, I say publicly because on the channel analytics which only I can see, though a screenshot is attached, I am at almost 81 Million views, I am not sure if the views from shorts is included in the public total. Another difference is the amount of videos, I have had about 40 removed over recent years and there are others which are uploaded and visible to people, but only if they watch a video until the very end at which point the links appear too other performances from bands such as Sex Pistols, Oasis, Foo Fighters, Robbie Williams and more, none of these videos is included in the total for the channel. I have not shared as many videos recently simply because I have other things going on in a life far removed from this YouTube channel, which is really just a pastime, but rest assured that lots more recordings are on the way and if this YouTube account ever vanishes you will find me already sharing video on another platform called Rumble.

Happy New Year folks, thanks for your support over the past 12 months. I hope to continue doing this for another 12 months, but I'm not sure that is going to be possible, however we will see what may come. Yesterday I shared a Clash documentary in full, most liked it, a few moaned about it and to be fair I find it a little difficult to watch, to much padding from old news footage etc. An old friend is a mad Clash fan, but he does not like that documentary at all, so I had made an abridged version for him with all the clash material and a few bits for continuity. Unfortunately due to a copyright claim, from JOKS PRODUCTIONS LTD, of which Sharon Osbourne is a director, I have decided to remove all videos relating to Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. This only amounted to around one million views. So if you are subscribed to this channel due to those videos, then I am sorry to say there will never be anything from Ozzy on this channel ever again.

How did this channel perform in July? Well, monthly views were up by about 150,000 to over 1.1 Million, taking the channel total to over 72 Million views. Subscriber numbers were up by over 2000 to 155,000. YouTube is still refusing to award the channel a silver play button which is given when YouTube channels achieve 100,000 subscribers. Five videos were blocked outright in July by The Gogo's, Eric Clapton, James Brown & more, not specifically by those artists, but by company's who own the copyright / publishing rights of the artists music or company who originally broadcast the recording. None of the blocked videos had a significant amount of views, so no real loss to the channel. One recent video, which I shared last week, has been removed by me, it's Frank Zappa live in London, which had a 90 second improvised performance prior to the band rolling into a track called King Kong. A few friends told me that they never even got to the performance of King Kong, the improv had put them off and they had left the video after about 30 seconds. So I have edited the first 90 seconds out and will share it once again this evening. So what's on the way? Well as always with this channel, there is no plan of release, I have digitised many items from tapes, which I had considered of interest for sharing, but I had a change of mind with most of the items and now I am back looking through tapes looking for whatever.  
If you have any old VHS, Beta, video8, DV tapes that you wish to share but don't have the tech to do so, then drop me a message, I am happy to accept your old tapes, share bits of them here on the channel, give you credit on every item used, keep the tapes in safe store here or return them with digital copies.

This channel just drifted past the Seventy Million views mark and a few days ago passed the 150,000 subscriber mark. Nine videos have over a Million views with another just a few hundred short of the Million, it will probably hit the magic million tomorrow. A massive Thank You, to all you good people who watch the videos, especially those who comment, it helps the channel so much and helps to keep me going on the occasional time when I feel like giving up. I read every comment made on all the videos, I enjoy the ones where people share memories of gigs they attended, bands they met, bands or venues that people worked at.  
So what's coming? I really do not know, it's all still very random, just whatever tape catches my eye and not just my tapes. Over the last few years a few people have sent me boxes of tapes, recorded from TV, shows I missed, each requested a certain degree of anonymity, so thanks to 'Gaz & Maggie" 'The Mad Jock' and 'Mike M' for sharing tapes that would otherwise have went to landfill. A good few videos I have shared here on YT recently have been blocked outright, worldwide, some are not available anywhere else, such as the recent concert from YES. So I am asking you to download, share and save any videos from this channel and any others that you like, before they vanish.
