What is it that you guys waaaaant? D:
This isn't even a Pokemon vs Sonic thing, because both get this kind of messages. My videos fail because subscribers don't even click. I do my best with thumbnails and titles but it's never enouuuuugh : ( The quality of my art and animation has improved so much but people don't even get to see that if they don't click.

I am 6.5 months into my one year trial of fulltime youtube, and I'm doing worse now than before I started. Sorry, just ranting again I guess. Youtube is so very difficult.

Real talk, guys. My latest video, "Eevee and Jolteon open the forbidden box" (https://youtu.be/TbLNiQLpRJc) is a major flop. Like it's in the top 3 worse performances of 2025. And I'm here to figure out why. If you have time to give me feedback, keep reading.

You may remember I'm trying to do Youtube full time for a full year. We are now 5 months in, and sadly things have barely improved. The money I make barely covers the strict minimum needed to live, with no room for anything that's not bills/obligations. I need to learn and improve or I'll never make it, and this requires figuring out why some videos do great, and some are total flops. So why was that?

I narrowed it down to these potential reasons. Is it because:
- It uses pre-made audio/meme audio and people don't like that?
- People don't like Problematic Eeveelutions all that much?
- It's not Sonic?
- It's boring/Not entertaining?
- The thumbnail and title are not appealing

The other two videos in the top 3 worse were "Umbreon in Introvert World" and "Vaporeon uses ominous positivity." All 3 of them are Problematic Eeveelutions, so do people not like PE? But all 3 used meme audio, so do people hate meme audio?

I thought the forbidden box video especially had better visuals and better animation than usual so I don't think it's due to the art. Can you watch or rewatch it and tell me why you think this video would flop? What did you not like about it? It has a 4% click through rate which is bad, so we know thumbnail and title are not great but I don't know how to make it better.

Why is this video specifically not doing well according to you? I welcome all opinions. Thanks for reading!
