Welcome to my channel! I'm Claire and over here on my little corner of the internet, we are into all things budget friendly, family cooking and vintage loving! I'm lucky enough to be mom to two wonderful boys, and work part time as a dog groomer (so keep your eyes peeled for my fur babies who often make cameos!) I love a thrift haul or trying out a retro recipe from my cookbook collection. Any time I can save money for things that are important to me, I do! Hi, friends!
Just checking in with some exciting news! I will now be posting TWO videos every week! If you've been with me a long time then you may remember the two-video- per-week days! (if you've been around that long leave me a heart in the comments!) When I switched down to one video I promised that if life allowed it and the creativity flowed I would add another video, and that day has come! 2025 is going to be filled with easy, tasty recipes, vintage cookbooks and great budget finds! I also will have a NEW posting schedule. You can look forward to a new video every Wednesday and every Saturday at 9:00 am EST. And on that note, I recently tried my hand at making my own sausage, would anyone like a tutorial? Until then, thanks for watching !!

Hey friends! You may have noticed I haven’t posted a video in a few weeks. I decided to take a little time off of social media for mental health. In the past few weeks, Desmond turned 7 and we had a wonderful party for him. We traveled to Chicago and partied hard! School ended and we had all sorts of festivities to celebrate in the the last week. It’s hard to decide to step away when the scary algorithm tells you your channel will suffer for it, but sometimes duty calls! Being a mom is always priority #1 for me, and if the pressures of social media gets hard for you too, let this be your sign that it’s ok to step away for a while! My videos will be here when you’re ready to come back, just like I know you will all be there when I’m ready to make more content. Don’t worry, there will be a new video this Tuesday, and now that we are settling into our summer schedule you can look forward to one each week! ❤️❤️❤️
