2017 was a pivotal year in my life. đź’Ž

I felt lost, unworthy, and unsure of my purpose. I struggled to believe in myself and didn’t feel good enough.

At the time, I had a couple thousand followers on Instagram through my photography page, but deep down, I knew it wasn’t fulfilling. It didn’t feel like my calling, so I made the difficult decision to completely delete that page.

From that moment on, I was left trying to figure out what I truly wanted to do with my life.

Through all the confusion, two things remained constant—fitness and my Deen. As I started to see progress in my fitness, it became more than just working out.

It became a source of strength, discipline, and mental clarity.

At the same time, reconnecting with my Deen gave me hope and reminded me that Allah always has a plan for us, even when we feel lost.

Looking back at this picture from 2017, I see someone who felt broken but never gave up. Alhamdulillah, through fitness and my faith , I’ve found purpose and strength again. There’s still a lot of work to be done, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

To anyone feeling unfulfilled or stuck—keep going. It’s okay to let go of things that don’t serve your purpose.

Focus on bettering yourself in all aspects of life—your physical health, your mental health, and your relationship with Allah. The pieces will eventually come together.

If this resonates with you, drop a comment below and share your thoughts.

Keep striving, keep believing, and never lose hope. đź’Ž
