🏀 PLAY OF THE DAY #1: TRAVEL OR LEGAL?
A1 catches a pass with both feet touching the court while B1 closes out defensively.
A1 steps forward with the right foot, establishing the left foot as the pivot foot. A1 then lifts the left pivot foot, rises toward the basket and releases the ball on a shot before the left foot returns to the floor.
Under NFHS rules, what should the official call?
A. Traveling violation
B. Legal play—count the basket if the shot goes in
