Hi all! My ECMA-nominated album Samplextra turns 2 years old tomorrow! So at 730pm ET/830pm AT I'll be holding a Bandcamp listening party on Monday night!
I am launching a new project today - a photobook and exclusive CD package called West to East, a collection of many unseen photographs taken from 2009-2024.
In 2009, I got my first smartphone with a camera and took many pictures around Vancouver when I lived there. When I moved to Charlottetown in 2018, I took more photos of my new surroundings and I've collected the best images in this 130 page book.
In addition to the photobook, it comes with an exclusive CD of ambient music which are reworkings, and remixes including new and unreleased pieces of music that complement the images. So the book and CD are a 15 year journey, representing both West to East.
The books are printed on-demand through Amazon, however I need to raise the money to press a minimum of 100 CDs (real CDs, not CDrs). If I make more than my target goal, I will press more CDs with the difference. The CD will be pressed by duplication.ca and attached to the inside of the back flap of the book, including a digital download of the music.
I'll also throw in some postcards and stickers, and my undying appreciation and thanks for supporting this project. Thank you for your time and your support!

Back in 2021, Teun van der Zalm and I were working together remotely on a project for a VR video - that project didn't end up happening for reasons beyond our control, and I released the music as The Overview Effect
However, Teun has created new visuals and set my music to it in a new 2023 version, and you can watch it here:

Recently I made a very rough video to go along with my album The Overview Effect - WELL!
Video producer Seán Doran has been making high quality videos sourced from NASA footage, painstakingly editing all the frames together and touching up the images - so naturally they look amazing...
And he's done one for my album! So go over here and watch in 4K with my album as the soundtrack and enjoy!

Back in 2021, Teun van der Zalm and I were working together remotely on a project for a VR video - that project didn't end up happening for reasons beyond our control, and I released the music as The Overview Effect
