7 Things To Remember This Christmas - 3 📍Sacrifice Is the Hallmark of True Love🌲
Love is proven by what it is willing to give up. This is the case with God as shown in John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Every parent will better understand what it means to give up ones only child, but as impossible as it is, God made that call for you and I.
Many relationships fail today because selfishness replaces sacrifice. Scripture commands, “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself” - Philippians 2:3.
This season, let us self-examine and make necessary amends. Where sacrifice is absent, love withers.
Christmas challenges us to love like Christ—intentionally, sacrificially, and consistently. Without this, nothing lasting can grow.
Lastly, it is important that you and I respond positively to God in acknowledgement of his sacrifice of love!
Say this affirmation out loud as we all pursue a meaningful Christmas: I receive grace to live selflessly, love sacrificially, and build healthy relationships that reflect Christ’s character and heart. I am empowered to positively respond to God's love, living for and making him happy!

Hence, when Christ is removed, Christmas becomes noise without meaning.
This season calls for intentional refocusing. Christ must not be an accessory—He is the center, he's the main act, his birthday. Anything else is distraction.
