I’ve been grinding on a new interview episode lately.

I thought of this Chinese poem while on vacation.☺️

到山春已晚，何更有新茶。

【Translation】
I came to the mountain when spring was already late — yet unexpectedly, here is fresh tea.

· 到 = arrive at
· 山 = mountain
· 春 = spring
· 已 = already
· 晚 = late
· 何 = how come / why
· 更 = additionally / still
· 有 = there is
· 新 = fresh
· 茶 = tea

【A small tip】
这是中国古代的诗句表达，非常凝练。今天我们已经不这样说话了。

【What do we say nowadays?】
“我到了山里，春天都快过完了，没想到还有新茶。”
