In 2025, RUCOMEF — CMF’s medical missions arm — ran 21 free outreaches across 24 communities, treating 9,229 patients, performing 205 surgeries, and seeing 1,522 people surrender their lives to Jesus. And 2026 is already catching up: in just the first half of this year, RUCOMEF’s teams logged 908 more professions of faith and reached 3,270 more patients. Every number here is a life God is reaching — for the whole man, not just the body. Pray for RUCOMEF’s teams as they carry healing and the Gospel into Nigeria’s hardest-to-reach places.

Nigeria’s church is one of the largest and strongest in the world — but that’s not the whole story. Of its 531 people groups, 49 are still considered unreached, including the Kanuri whom CMF is reaching in Yola and Borno State. A strong national church doesn’t mean a finished mission — it means there’s still a harvest field within the harvest field. Pray for Nigeria’s unreached peoples today. (Source: Joshua Project)

For years, the Kanuri people of Borno State have been largely inaccessible to the gospel — held by a strong Islamic identity and, in recent years, by the shadow of Boko Haram. Now, through patient friendship-building among Kanuri families in the Yola diaspora, CMF’s North East Zone missionaries are seeing something new: open doors. Kanuri leaders are listening, and conversations are happening that weren’t possible before. Pray for a breakthrough among the Kanuri, and for the missionaries who are quietly, faithfully building the trust that makes it possible. 🙏

ADC 2026 marked the dawn of a season of new leadership and renewed vision and commission for Christian Missionary Foundation.

Rev. Dr. Reuben Ezemadu officially handed over the leadership of Christian Missionary Foundation to our new co-directors: Rev. Dr. Dotun Adeboye (Director of Corporate Operations) and Rev. Ezekiel Akintayo (Director of International Operations). We celebrate this transition and trust God for all He will accomplish through their stewardship.

Jesus didn’t just call a few to mission — He called every believer! Missions start right where you are — in your home, your community, your city. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, you are God’s witness in Jerusalem today. Then, reach further: your region, your nation, and beyond to the ends of the earth.

Ask God: where is your Jerusalem? Start being a witness there. Share this to inspire others to join the mission!

God’s Glory: The Ultimate Motive for Missions

If God’s glory is not the point, our missions have lost their compass. The Bible insists that all things exist for God’s fame (Rom 11:36; Isa 43:7), and mission is the church’s obedient work to display that glory where it is hidden by sin.

When the gospel goes forth it announces not only forgiveness and new life but the worth of God’s name. Missional theology rooted in Scripture understands evangelism, justice, church planting and discipleship as means by which rebellious hearts are reoriented to worship. This makes missions worship in motion: not a pragmatic program to grow institutions, but a Spirit-led pursuit to see Christ honoured among the nations.

Motivation matters. If our driving force is reputation, budget, comfort, or cultural prestige, we corrupt the very aim of mission. True motivation flows from delight in God — a joy so contagious that it compels sacrifice, cross-cultural patience, and long obedience in the same direction. We send teams not to score converts but to form communities that know and declare God’s worth.

Practically, centring God’s glory reshapes strategy: prayer that asks for God’s name to be magnified; training that makes disciples whose lives point to God; partnerships that serve local churches; measures of success defined by worshipful fruit, not metrics alone. Mission becomes stewardship of God’s magnifying work.

Action
Pray for nations to glorify God; examine your motive and ministry through the lens of God’s glory; support and join efforts that form worshipping communities among the unreached. Let every mission decision answer one question: Will this magnify the worth of our King?
