I'm a 21-year veteran of Canada's largest municipal Police Service where I served in various capacities including Primary Response, Street Crime, and Community Relations. As Community Engagement Officer, I was tasked with building bridges, breaking down barriers, and establishing long-lasting relationships in new and innovative ways.

Are Police body-worn cameras necessary? In my entire Policing career, I’ve never been in a situation where they would have been a bad thing to have, but I’ve been in thousands of situations where it would have been a good thing to have. Not all Police services have them, sometimes it’s all about budget.
Is it a necessary expense?
