I'm a Christian Great Grandma, after living a life of being frugal, making do, I've learned a lot of tricks and tips about doing the best with what you have. I will have cooking, cleaning, making quilts and tossing in stories of my life and to top it all off play and sing a little music on my piano, Church songs you will more than like recognize. Did you see my mess up tonight i accidentally uploaded one video with the title of another one on it i guess that's not too bad I've got it changed mostly i was planning on uploading this video on Wednesday So it's A couple of days Early...I also meant to edit my son who came by From a 4 Mile bike ride and took a shirt off and he sampled the Bread pudding...I was going to edit it more..By the The bread pudding was delicious...

A lot of you remember my brother Glen, That plays the piano on here pretty often...his daughter Teresa wrote the best tribute to him I want to share here...I have mentioned briefly about some health problem...I know you will enjoy this...here it is..
.You always have that one person in the family that does daily chores so seamlessly that you don't think how hard the task they take on is. I'm talking about my Dad. He has always been a work horse, staying busy on his job (12 hour days) and then came home and worked some more on daily chores or fixing something that stopped working that day. He rarely showed that it fazed him or became impatience. His attitude is "It has to be done - let do it!"
He worked on his job 47 years and finally retired on April 9th, only to land in the hospital on the 11th with a heart attack. He's ok - gonna heal just fine. But my Mama, Sister and I are finding out how much he has always done around here. Being that it's Spring and there is a ton of chores to do - I'm trying to take them on and do them as good as Dad. Whew, those are some big shoes to fill!!! My sister has come over and helped me with some of the large chores that absolutely take 2 people to do. We both look whipped by the time we finish!!!
I'm saying all of this to say a huge THANK YOU to our Dad for taking such good care of us. We didn't mean to take all you do for granted. However, I think you gave the biggest April Fools joke possible...you made your chores look so easy and now you get to watch Sis & I struggle to do them. It's ok. You deserve the break!! Honestly, I'm happy to do them in your "TEMPORARY" place.
I know healing from a heart attack wasn't on the list of things to do after retirement. But you'll soon be back at your Energizer Bunny ole' self. And as always, I'll be right there by your side handing you tools, and giving you your extra hands. I LOVE YOU Daddy and THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all you've done to make Mama, Sis and my life better!!!
