Hello pals! A quick update: Unfortunately I got a pretty nasty cold that took me out last week (I swear you dare to leave the house to go antiquing ONE TIME and germs attack?!?) which has lead to an increased delay on this next video. I've been working on extra decor bits while I've been getting my voice back from the extensive upper respiratory system malfunction.

I am finishing up the video edit, and hope to have a nice long home decor video coming for you on Friday morning! Stay well and I'll be with you with my raspy but mostly functioning voice soon ❤

Hello there folks! I'm popping on here to update you on the situation with my current project/next video. Unfortunately the garment I'm working on is taking me far more time to construct than I had originally planned into my schedule, which means while I wanted to have it finished for this week, not only is the video not done...neither is the project!

I would love to blame the cats, as they have been providing plenty of interruptions, but in truth it's chiefly my fault. Whether it's this winter, the world falling into ever more pieces everyday outside, or just my inability to properly calculate the amount of space time needed for sequinning, I have fallen behind. Which means I won't have a video out yet again for you this week. As usual, I feel awful about this!

But I don't want to rush the sewing, or the video edit, because I want to make both the very best version of the garment and of the resulting video possible for you. So I'll be back next week with some irrationally iridescent materials and a project I can be proud of. Thank you for your patience!!

Hey everyone, sooo I was working through editing this week's video for tomorrow, went downstairs to grab a cup of coffee, noticed that the cats must have spilled their water...except they hadn't, there was just water dripping from my dining room ceiling.

There was a big bubble in the paint where it was dripping through the drywall, which quickly crumbed in my hand upon further inspection. So instead of finishing the video, I ran all up and down my house for several hours to find the source of the leak (structural not plumbing related, thankfully? I think) So it looks like the rest of my week is going to be mini-crisis management and roofing repair estimates. Hopefully I will be back with a new video next week! Thank you for your patience!!
