Hey everyone, sooo I was working through editing this week's video for tomorrow, went downstairs to grab a cup of coffee, noticed that the cats must have spilled their water...except they hadn't, there was just water dripping from my dining room ceiling.

There was a big bubble in the paint where it was dripping through the drywall, which quickly crumbed in my hand upon further inspection. So instead of finishing the video, I ran all up and down my house for several hours to find the source of the leak (structural not plumbing related, thankfully? I think) So it looks like the rest of my week is going to be mini-crisis management and roofing repair estimates. Hopefully I will be back with a new video next week! Thank you for your patience!!

New (long too 😅) sewing project video will be coming tomorrow! Thanks to everyone's favorite delay: incessant neighborhood truck/construction noise with a hearty dose of hours long loud beeping for the full "am I losing my mind?" bonus. Unfortunately I've had some delays in the sewing parlor due to the new interns. They definitely lied about their sewing experience, and honestly they seem to either just party violently or laze about at all times. So much for making the grunts do my seam binding for me, they keep trying to eat it instead and insist it's "ribbon" not seam binding anyhow. One lad even brazenly stole a pin right in front of me and tried to run off with it, causing a serious safety concern and considerable if momentary alarm. It's a learning curve for all of us. Just give me a little more time to train these apprentices up a bit...
